For me, RM scoring two 90th minute goals to get them level, then winning, is like Luton winning the play offs. This season has probably been the worst I’ve ever known, in terms of Watford/Barca failings but rivals also doing well.

That Nigerian curse is powerful and far reaching.

 

I can categorically say that there is no chance in hell Liverpool are going to win the Champions League Final against Real Madrid.

It would be quite funny if City stutter in their next league game, handing the title to Liverpool (Not that I particularly like them either).

 

Both teams have match winners so not as straightforward as that.

 

It’s a horrible thing to have to say but I hope Liverpool win the league (and lose the CL) so that City don’t win anything this year, not even their beloved tinpot cup. The media fawning over them and Liverpool the past week or so has been absolutely sickening, the ‘best team in the world’ that has won nothing, hopefully.

 

I didn't see the game as I was watching the other Madrid sporting event but Pep always seems to get it wrong in the big matches.

I do like Carlo A so congratulations to him.

Liverpool must be laughing all the way to the dentist!

Hard not to be pleased for Ali Mcoist on BT Sport given his enthusiasm and emotion over getting to the final.

Fingers crossed for Seville - the frying pan of Europe - today. Lovely city; I hope the invading hordes treat it well.

 

We've just got back from a few days in Seville (booked without realising it was the hosting the Europa cup and the final coincided with our trip!). Forget 'the frying pan of Europe' - the men in skirts are busy turning it into 'the open air urinal of Europe'. Come on Frankfurt!

Tavernier has been absolutely woeful for Rangers so far. I always thought he was decent.

I didn’t see their earlier games but, given that they beat West Ham, Frankfurt were nowhere near as good as I expected them to be. A draw was about right but they did take the better penalties.

 

Living up to its name - it reached 35.9 C yesterday! Only been to Spain once - Seville is one of the places top on my list, along with Madrid and the more unspoilt ports on the mainland and Balearic Islands. Perhaps I could be really bold and go to Seville during the height of summer.

 

Top class penalties, apart from the one from the player whose probably on a wage that is more than the rest of his teammates combined.

 

I hate them all so it comes down to relative-hating. I will always hate Liverpool more than the rest. And my ex mother-in-law.

 

Yes he was definitely coming here at one point, still don't understand why he turned down the chance to play alongside Perotti and Alcacer. Still it turned out for the best as we ended up with King.
