Have people actually printed off their tickets yet?
Each time I go in they say they are not ready.

 

Mine says they’ll be up at least 3 days before, so no reason to be concerned.

 

Chris Stark donated a hundred quid to my dad's just giving for the Peace Hospice with a lovely message. He's alright by me.

 

Naughty Boy must also be getting involved in this surely?

 

Thanks for posting this. I've looked everywhere for information. On ticket master all the venues say 18.30 (which I assume is take your seats at) but watford says 16.30. (doors open?)

 

It's not last - he's got plenty more of his tour to go yet.

EDIT: Though I think most are re-scheduled from 2021 and so maybe ending his UK run at the Vic was the initial plan?

The pictures, videos and comments I've seen have been 100% positive - looks like it was a special evening. I'm going tonight so I'm hoping for more of the same.

 

Amazing. Showed great passion about the club as well and brought all the fans together.

I have resolved to be more tolerant of the pro-Pozzo dolts after that.

 

Yes we are going for some food and a beer in town first to avoid the faff of all that.

 

Yep two half hours solid performance. Even the percussion man is a treat.

 

I went last night too and totally agree about his voice - I commented exactly the same to my wife. So powerful still and sounded as good as ever at 75 years old. Amazing performance.

We got loads of bottles at the start so didn't need to go back. They left the lids on so easily kept hold of them by our feet. And as usual your better off getting them from the GT stand as was much quieter round that side.

 

What time did it finish? I'm the cabbie tonight.

 

I went to the cask ale booth. Queues were minimal compared to the Budweiser/Camden pumps.

Managed to get heavily pissed at 6.70 a pint.

Pretty sure one of the staff pocketed the cash from one round, rather than put it in the till.

 

I'd like to say I remember but the loads of bottles fogged my memory! Think it was about 9.30ish. there was no break so he went solid all the way through 2 and a half hours and no encore so ended pretty much on time I think.

 

Didn't go but I see he revealed the new away shirt and also heard that he had a pop at the team about last season?

 

It was the third kit shirt not the away.

Oh yeah I remember about the pop at the team now! Said what every fan was thinking - team played with no passion and I think had a go at the owners too if I recall which I thought was a little risky given he's got another night to play there tonight!

What did he say about the owners? Please tell me he did a song about Bayat.

 

I actually was hoping he'd do a bit more banter about the team and the club. Maybe reveal that he funded the move for Kayembe like he did for Paul Devlin.

As a gig though, it was fantastic. Still got it, his band are exceptional musicians and he's still one of the best entertainers in the business.

I hope any of the cowards in last seasons squad are embarrassed by that. I doubt it as they showed last season they don't give a ***c but the reaction to his words about playing with passion are telling.

 

Away kit hasn't been revealed yet I don't think. Not seen it anywhere. Probably want to get a few more home shirt pre order sales in before releasing the away design!

Looking at powerjugs' video maybe I remember it differently as didn't say anything about the owners!

 

Good idea. Trying to get a beer during the performance would mean you'd miss 3 or 4 songs so not worth it.
