All contributing to us buying John Stones in January.
I have a text message too.
Can't believe there's no sniff of pricing though.
Do we have to wade through the trying 1,000 times to get on the website before we discover they're too much to be worth buying?
Still not received SMS
anyone else the same?
I got an email first, then the text a few hours later.
Any luck yet?
No - and impossible to even phone Ticketmaster.
I think I know why - my mobile number on the Watford ticket website was old so maybe sent there. I did see where to even put a mobile number down when registering the other day
looks like I will miss out
I've received ten texts from Ticketmaster with my code.
They REALLY want you there, don't they?
That's a shame.
They're on general sales as well from tomorrow but presumably more competition for those tickets.
I wonder if this is how the music business usually works? If only we knew an insider…
The 'best available' is the (rip-off) default for Ticketmaster. You'll be able to choose.
They also warn against touting, however at the same time they usually offer what they call 'demand driven platinum tickets' for gigs, in which higher the demand, the more the price goes up. Legalised touting, a bit like booking a flight back home to the UK once a country goes on the red list.
Ticketmaster really are scum, what with withholding the prices, their handling fees, processing fees, charging you for the privilege of printing your own tickets at home etc but as they own most of the event ticket marketing, they do what they like and other companies follow suit. Gig-goers are stuck over a barrel with their trousers down.
I think they have had less of an uptake than anticipated, first we were told we can only buy two which has now been upped and now the texts.
So each season ticket can now buy 4 tickets?
Can't see there being much on 'general sale' for those without season tickets sadly.
All part of the ruse. Get people worried, great a false demand ('You might not get a text') then pretend to relax the rules on ticket numbers so people think 'Aw that's nice of them to let Watford fans have a greater allocation. Aren't Ticketmaster lovely'. They know exactly what they're doing.
I saw him at the Vic in 2005, decent concert but my wife doesn't want to go to see him again so I shan't be bothering for this concert. It would be interesting to see prices, I can't remember what I paid in 2005, but anything north of £50 for a singer who you don't necessarily like the music for is not worth it, I went in 2005 as there was a financial campaign which led to promotion a year later.
6000 ahead of me in the queue. Or Moog and all his logins on here
Admin can we open the shoutbox while we are all waiting please
It feels like calling the doctors on a Monday
2474 in front of me....
Yeah the doctors won't try and charge 500 quid a seat though when you finally get through!
Next tory policy.
£49.50 - £162 per ticket
£50-70 gets you back third of the pitch. £99 for the Rookery Stand, then £129 for the sides and £162 for the front of the pitch. Stage is a the Vic Road End.
I think I'll pass this time.
Cheapest left 99
My options aren't giving me anything under £300???
Got mine at £129 each on the pitch, not too shabby considering.
Got the £71.50's on the pitch.
The options the system was spitting out for £99 in the Rookery were appalling seats!
You need to enter your code to get the fan prices.
Got 4 at £99. Very easy process to buy.
I'm helping my dad but there doesn't seem to be a choice, only £162 tickets available
I think the codes are very much linked to what you can get. My options were utter cr*p but then I've not had a ST for a few years so not unexpected.
EDIT: Lots more available for the Monday.
Jeez, he's charging you a lot.
I was only getting 162 quid options.
I've given up.
Ticketmaster wanted me to register.
They asked for my number.
I entered it.
They somehow have the last four digits incorrect so no code to enter to proceed.
Not the one I received yesterday.
Have sent a help message but no reply.
Not very chuffed.
