Sounds like Rajovic but in midfield! He gets a lot of stick, some of it deserved, but he is much more useful in a midfield 3 than elsewhere
Good job that cross from Georgi was on his left foot otherwise probably would have missed which is kind of his problem. Very one footed.
He is a lot better than JJ O'Toole who is still playing as a centre back age 36, for AFC Wimbledon complete with ponytail and hasn't scored a goal for ages (well 3 goals in the last 5 years)
This is why he's so invaluable to us: battle-hardened from experience of the biggest games at the highest level.
His ability to slot the ball home from 2 centimetres out is truly invaluable at club and international level
He has some assets. He’s versatile, and very rarely injured. You can see why Tom likes and relies on him so much. I remain unconvinced myself though.
Being one footed is hardly uncommon now. The vast majority of players are completely one footed and don't seem to back themselves to even swing at a ball to clear it unless it is on their stronger foot.
