This guy is actually decent. I’m excited we’re getting him. Small, but has a lot of energy and is an enthusiastic player.

Most similar to Etebo from our squad and is exactly the profile our team needs.

 

I will give this guy time and hope he’s an unheard of revelation.

But was never a regular at Anderlecht over 3 years and now plays for a team that are perennial strugglers in the Belgian league - who recently had Penaranda on the books!

Coupled with the fact he’s one of Mogi Bayat’s clients, this does look like a cheap punt and I’m not holding out any great hopes.

 

A quick glance at his stats this season suggests he's been more handy at scoring goals than at winning the ball?!

There's not too much to form an opinion on, but given his agent we could have gone for him out of desperation. He could well be a marginal improvement on Kucka and Tufan, but I won't hold my breath on him properly solving our midfield woes.

I like that you think he may be cheap. Leventhal reporting Eupen paid around £800,000 and Watford may pay £4 million. Trying to get my head around that one. Definitely sounds like a Mogi Bayat special.

I guess Southampton fans rave about Romeu and how important and underrated/appreciated what he does for them is, so if he can replicate that (as the closest player) it won't be all bad. I'm having trouble seeing how Loftus-Cheek is managing to be that highly-rated in so many aspects compared to anyone, though?!?

 

You just absolutely sense this guy is going to be sat on the bench for 6 months and then be someone that we push around European backwaters on loan season after season.

But the club would rather spend £4m on an unheard of Mogi Bayat client than genuinely decent recruits like Okay Yokuslu or Lewis Ferguson. No, that would be far too easy and sensible…
