Drinking Wine - What's It All About

It's a French affectation IMO. I drink beer.

Yes. Proper hipster IPAs. None of that brown pondwater muck.

I used to be a real ale man, but I've moved to the craft beer world.

 

Not for me. Lack of substance masked by chucking a shed load of hops at the brew is not the way forward imho. a nice creamy winter warmer, ruby ale, mild or stout is preferred. Heavilly hopped beers tend to give me a chronic hangover or migraine.

 

I'm the opposite. The darker, gravy brews make me a bit ill. I had a big one recently on real ales and ended up throwing up. Now can't stomach the bitter aftertaste.

 

You're the last person I'd expect to be involved in an underground movement ?

I’m into premium lagers, Fosters, Carling, if it’s a special occasion I might have a Carslberg.

 

Ribena on the rocks for me.

 

Given the quality of continental lagers, craft beers and IPAs these days, I'm surprised there's a market left for those in a pub.

 

Given the price of an IPA or craft lager in anywhere but wetherspoons, I'm not.
