Do You Think Luton Will Go Down?

3 teams? They are already above Plymouth

Wonder if the fact that they really must win will help Luton’s approach? Derby are at home and a win would be huge for them but would a draw be good enough too ? Do they risk losing the game to a relegation rival by trying to win it or do they just ensure they don’t lose it ?

 

A draw would be good for Derby vis a vis Luton, but they’re just a point clear of Cardiff so I don’t imagine for a second that they’ll just play for a point

 

True. Hadn’t looked and didn’t realise it was just a point.

 

We are all just assuming that Luton are trying to catch Derby\Hull\etc but we have disregarded
Cardiff and particularly Plymouth who just won't go away .

 

Cardiff seem determined to be in the bottom 3, Plymouth are keeping it alive but aren't good enough so those two will definitely go.

Friday is huge - if Derby win then the filth will 100% be gone.

Totally agree re Cardiff & Plymouth. I think Luton will be 90% gone if they lose. Hopefully the 0-1 to 10 man Blackburn will have really knocked the stuffing out of them but we have been here before with the "if they lose at Cardiff they are gone" and "if they lose at Hull they are gone" and they won both. I'm taking nothing for granted. Derby need to score the first goal.

 

As previously said, if somehow Plymouth do get just enough points to stay up, then that equaliser by Andre Gray back in November could be part of the reason why the scum go down.

 

Statue time?

 

Haven't we already got enough statues in the squad.

 

They will be 5 points from safety if they lose Friday, 6 points if you take in to account their GD. They would realistically need to win all 3 remaining games and pray others don't get enough.
Come on Derby

 

Don't usually watch the Scum play but will be this Friday. No doubt it will be a horrible watch but will be well worth it they crumble. The goal difference is a thing of joy to see. Yates has 2 in 3 now and always seemed to go on decent goalscoring runs once he found the ability to find the back of the net. It's all looking rosey.

Would be great to see a team that was in League one last season beat and effectively relegate a team that was in the prem last season....

 

Derby away is a must win for them, after that they have to play Bristol City at home, Coventry away (ouch) and West Brom away in their last three games. They have to win 3 of the last 4 to have any real chance I think.

The fact that Derby and Hull have to play each other on the last day isn't going to help them. If both teams need a point each to stay up, i can see it being a very defensive 0-0

 

Just as a little treat watched the extended highlights of the 0-1 defeat to Blackburn. Started with “unbeaten run” “out of the bottom 3 with a win” and “140 year centenary” and ended with the atmosphere of a library.

 

They are going down and it's all Chris Martin's fault......
