St Albans City FC have re-introduced the concession pricing for Hornets Season Ticket Holders. Former player, David Noble, is currently in charge of the first team following the departure of Ian Allinson last week (after over 6 years at the helm) and of course, Director of Football, Dean Austin, is also a past member of the coaching staff.

This evening, David Noble will be fielding a full first-team squad for his first game in charge - against London Colney in the 1st round of the Herts Senior Challenge Cup - prices are £5 full paying adult, £3 concessions and free for all under 18s. He then gets his league debut as (interim) head coach on Saturday when Chippenham Town visit the Park.

Tickets available using the link below or at the turnstiles:

BTW the clubhouse has been completely refurbished as have the pitchside bars (1908 bar, Satellites bar and Park Side bar) - all serving craft beers, lagers, and cider from the Mad Squirrel brewery.

I'm in the market for a new club, but unfortunately, STA is the wrong side of Watford for me.

Good luck for the rest of the season, except when you play us of course lol!

This Saturday, following a fantastic start, collecting 7 out of 9 points in the league, caretaker boss David Noble faces a tough test with the visit of Dartford to the Park, The Darts are managed by Alan Dowson with assistance from Martin Tyler (yes, the commentator) and their currently in-form striker is Charlie Sheringham - son of Teddy.

Hornets season ticket holders get admission at concession price and the clubhouse and 3 pitchside bars will be open as well as 2 food concessions and a tea bar. Remember, we are the highest level in English football (currently) where you can drink a pint from the terraces. This is likely to attract a big crowd as it's a popular away fixture for Dartford fans - who will bring at least a couple of hundred.

Tickets are available to pre-purchase now: https://fanzone.stalbanscityfc.com/product/st-albans-city-v-dartford-221022/ (or purchase at the turnstiles - card payments only)

A few years ago we played away to Woking in the FA Cup, Tyler was their assistant then and has been a lifelong Woking fan, I'm surprised he isn't still there.

Correct - he departed Woking when Dowson got the sack. Tyler and Dowson always work together - they were also at Hampton & Richmond Borough who they got promoted into the National League South but also developed ex-Saints player Jamal Lowe who is now a Premier League player with Bournemouth (the sell-on fees helped save Hampton & Richmond from a financial crisis a few years ago)
