How shyt is SkyNews Australia if this is their latest appointment? Nigel Farage gets his 10th job as he becomes Sky News Australia commentator In addition to role as MP, Reform UK leader has gigs including Telegraph column and advertising gold bullion
Always a weird phenomenon to see grassroots parties with hardly any seats generating other even smaller ones which will end up with 5 votes from their mates, you'd think it would be strategic to join the mothership where you have ~5% chance of becoming an MP in whatever seat they give you as it isn't going to be a competitive application process like you'd get in labour or the conservatives then once you're in you can go full crazy and become an independent anyway
I think it becomes almost inevitable that parties on the extremes split like this. The Life of Brian was spot on. They are all anger and hate but then fall apart when it comes to specific solutions and who the best leader for "the revolution" should be. It's quite funny to watch the hate Farage is now getting from many of the former Reform loyalists over the Robert Lowe shambles for example.
If he loves Saville so much, he should just ask the Lord of Light to bring him back to life, like he did with Ser Beric Dondarrion
Well, well, well Gawain 'Goebbels' Towler 'finally' speaks: That bit in bold is a fairly wonderful piece of doublethink and of course does not apply to the DFP (Der Färagers Partei) and any similarity to their main players is purely coincidental...
Predictable scenes over on X as the Reform drones who normally bang on, and on, and on about migrants and never looking after our own announce their opposition to Labour’s extended free breakfast club offering in primary schools. Apparently they didn’t mean that type of our own.
Well, there's another Herts boozer I'm never going to set foot in... https://www.borehamwoodtimes.co.uk/...asts-woke-hertfordshire-councils-hemel-visit/
What do you want? People who are more comfortably off to just not care at all about the rest of society? Should people who are 'alright' just join in with your sentiments and wish misery on 'others'? I get it, you're twisted up to the point that you don't want people like me to enjoy things like balsamic vinegar or weekend city breaks in Copenhagen or shopping at Waitrose or having anything nice or any leisure time. But what do you want people like me to want for people who find themselves worse off in our uneven society? More struggle? Less money, less aspiration, less hope, worse prospects? It would be really, really easy for many people in 'the middle' (although still far, far closer to the bottom than the top than they realise) to just abandon the bottom third and give up caring in the face of so much small-mindedness and the rise of Farage-style politics of hate and envy. The thing is, people in the middle will survive the rise of the ultra-right. Especially white people who fit the cookie cutter definition of what Farage thinks a Brit should be. But those at the bottom will suffer more and more, while being misdirected yet again to point their anger elsewhere. The 'fake' or Champagne socialst jibe is so, sooo tired and lazy. Like almost all the thinking that accompanies it. But it's utterly transparent too.
Anyone voting for Reform, even in local elections, is voting for another big step towards an American-style private health insurance system. Farage isn't even secretive about this, it's there in plain sight. It's what he believes. Might be okay as long as you don't plan to be ill, or get old...
Only if your Facebook and Google algorithms show you this. There's plenty of perks who are being bombarded with reform material that claims reform will protect that NHS and they are poor only hope
That is a very good point. My sources are not Facebook but video of Farage saying it, reported by the Independent at the time, and other stories in the so-called mainstream media, some going back to as early as 2014.
