What the hell is going on with Baz? Is he trying to speed the deal up by going to the Observer? It's crazy, he risks jeopardising it.

 

Can someone explain in simple speak how the club could be ultimately sold without Bassini's say so? Unless the Pozzos are proposing the take over the bonds and then manoeuvre him out over time....

I don't know for sure obviously but I think Bassini is not calling the shots, He has somehow been removed in some way! how can there still be talks with Watford fc directors and not Bassini? The directors that left his company. And maybe Mapps was not sold because Bassini did not have the authority just line he was not allowed in the safe!!

I'm not sure about this UEA, but I think that either Timperly or Franzen being on the board of Bas's holding company was a prerequisite of the original sale to Bas, so now that neither of them are on Bas's board, it puts Bas in default, therefore the Dark Lord and Co. have effectively pushed Bas out?

Watford Leisure is the holding company to the club - owned by Bassini? Is that right? The holding company is where the dividends are paid into - something in my accountancy bit of my brain seems to think this has something to do with tax - i.e. reduced rate of tax for dividends. I could be way out mind. There must be something in the fact Frandsen and Timperley being removed but moved into the club i.e. the subsidiary.

I'm sure someone can elaborate.
