How on earth did I survive the wolves? I know the guardian got it right on Friday night but I was also surprised that the guardian didn't protect me.

You spotted me straight off. Cant believe others didnt.

I was playing the Village Idiot which is a role that comes naturally !

You'll also see from the cemetery that @miked2006 realised that @Squibba was the back up Seer before he'd even posted his message. Bravo!

Edit: Just realised that @miked2006 you also pinpointed NW & BRLR very early on; you are very good at this game.

Just a thought , but as a newcomer I noted that the best players tend to get killed earlier by wolves , which is a shame as the game would be better if they re in it for longer .

Might be an idea if we all picked a pseudonym for the next one ..... based on a Watford player from past and present of course .

Have to say thats a great idea. I haven't had a evil role before, but would defiantly target Mike, Diamond, Opti, Moog etc early.
Same if I was the seer.

Well played guys! I think it was luck that I was the new Seer and also the only confirmed Good. That saved me and allowed me to make it so obvious as I knew the Harlot would stay with me if I made it glaringly obvious I was the Seer.

Glad Good finally won a team!

    So my last 4 games:

    Team: EVIL - won
    Mod
    Team: EVIL - won
    Team: GOOD - won

Fairly safe to say Mike carried me for both team EVIL wins!

Yeah I was thinking this as well. I know it'll be a bit of work but if the admins could create 25 randomly named users that we could use for the duration of the game it would be outstanding. I think this game should be played every time there's any sort of break in the football and it would bring in more traffic to the site IMO. Having a password protected forum in the Werewolf area is all you need for a graveyard as well, if that's possible with this software.

Another enjoyable game from the sidelines...

I was offering to admin this game in the cemetery for this very reason.

My idea was to have seeded players. I.e 6 or so which had played the most times. If taken out by a wolf on day 1, the wolf would only have say 50% chance of killing them, and on day 2 25% chance.

This would give the experienced players a bit of time to get into the game, should the wolf not wish to gamble.

As you can see in the cemetery, you are very hard to read - perfect for a werewolf game.

I'm kinda disappointed no one found the massive hints in my seers messages. I posted first on all four days I was alive and the clues at evident in day 2,3 and 4. I almost worried that I was being too obvious.

Problem is that everything posted by everyone looks like a clue when you have no idea who is who so it's hard to know what is a clue and what's just general chit chat. It's only when you know who someone is that the clues seem really bloody obvious. I'll go back and have a read of everything now we know all the roles.

I did catch one, but only after Harrow suggested there was a clue in the messages. Otherwise it went over my head too.

I think I play my own role pretty well however I just cannot read what other players are. Just been through the cemetery link and I mean:

    -------------

Diamond - Day 3: Is BRLR the traitor or am I going mad?

You - Day 3: NW Orn and BRLR have my eye.

You - Day 4: I think: Opti, Happy, Steve, Meh, Otter, Squibba, ThePozzMan, SLB, Powerjugs are all good.
    8 out of 9 ain't bad

Diamond - Day 4: I would say BRLR is the traitor, (very quiet today), and grrwood & Steve Harrow wolves, (if I get one out of three I'll be amazed). you got 2 out of 3

    --------------

You did switch around a few times throughout and your radar definitely broke a bit on day 5 Mike:

    Gags
    Meh
    WAS

    BRLR as guardian

    --------------

But on day 3 both you and Diamond had almost nailed it already. How do you pick that up so early?

    ---------------

This made me laugh most from the cemetery though:

Opti - Day 6: My conclusion from reading this today, if hornetgags isn't evil then he is a complete ****ing idiot!

I prefer an anonymous game rather than a seeded game. Think an anonymous game would be amazing. You'd know all the real users at the beginning, and half the battle would be guessing who each user was as well as what role they have. Could be really entertaining!

Aaaarggghhhh just saw them. They are so obvious when you're looking for them! Every day a four sentence message with each sentence beginning in order:

    Ok...
    Please...
    Today...
    I...

You were too high profile, looking at the kill patterns they were targetting less conspicuous players.

With 25 players, there were too many to protect

As far as I was concerned I went for:
day 1 - Ashdon - an obvious choice hoping that I'd learn the other wolves identity.
day 2 - Diamond- again an obvious choice especially as he'd already been saved by the Guardian - hoping that I'd learn the other wolf's identity.
day 3 - Wanted to take out Squibba or Otter as they'd started to put me in the frame but thought that would raise seemed too obvious. Picked Nisman as a certain good and fairly quiet player. Hoped that SLB might stay the night there as that was the only way we were going to catch him.
day 4 - Wanted to keep team good guessing about the night kills and Opti had left a message about viewing WAS the next day. So thought by selecting him that might sow some confusion and he was obviously good - I didn't think he was obviously Very good so a bit of luck there.
day 5 - On my own by now. I'd considered Meh as he'd been previously saved but left him because I'd put him forward as my wolf candidate (along with WAS) so needed him to be there if I was going to hang it on him. Double bluffed myself picking Dom as it I felt it was an obvious choice and that the Guardian would think that too. Felt that the Guardian would think it too obvious as a wolf kill and they'd protect someone else. Doh . In hindsight I should've taken out Squibba as he was confirmed good and was far too adamant I was a wolf. It might have played out a bit differently with no back up seer posting on day 6.

Certainly been a really enjoyable game especially as evil. Thanks HO for running it all.

If you'd gone for Squibba, Harrow would have said VERY GOOD killed so we'd have guessed that the backup seer would have gone. You would have been in the spotlight anyway because I had strongly said so on Friday.

As Harrow said before, once Squibba named you and steve harrow got lynched, you were on borrowed time and at the very best you may have taken it to another day.

Thats why didnt defend NW Orn too strongly on the last day as he was defo gone by then and my only hope was staying anonymous an hoping that HO would have a full moon

That's the point of the traitor though NW Orn could have survived if you sacrificed yourself, then had there been a full moon you'd have served your purpose

Im a traitor to the wolves as well.

Seriously though, you guys had already worked out it was NW Orn as most likely Wolf, so even if I offered myself up for sacrifice you would have planned to kill him that night anyway and then me the next , so by the time of afternoon yesterday it was better I kept low.

  27. Meh!

    Meh! Pre-Dictator

Exactly. That's the sole purpose of the Traitor. To ensure the life of the wolves, even at the expense of their own.

Hornetgags seemed like more of a traitor to me than BRLR on Friday or Monday. Anything at all to save them or throw suspision on yourself.

As soon as NW receive 2 votes then I'd have done something completely stupid to get myself voted off.

It would be worth asking admin if they can create 25 dummy accounts.

(I don't mind doing it but they'd all be tied to my email address so you'd all have to trust me not to read the message email alerts!!!)

Then the mod would just need to include the username and password when they email the role over.

    @Meister ?

On that separate link that I think Diamond created, did you have to replicate your wfcforum names?

We could always use that site to have the actual game and the chat about it on here on our normal accounts.

Each time you went on, you had to write in a username.

It would be too easy to type in someone else's user name, and post on behalf of them.

BRLR if you look at the first summer game when I was traitor, Meh was Beta and called out, that was my cue to go all out and get the ball rolling on voting on PO. If someone had twigged that I was the traitor then either myself or Meh would have got the votes so as well as starting the voting I accused someone else (NorwayOrn) of being the traitor for manipulating the vote. He hadn't even voted!

As NW Orn was already on the radar you could have done no worse than to vote for PJ based on the first message, you may have even got a few people to follow.

To be fair for a free site it wasn't all bad. With a bit of hunting I could find something much better and easily create a bunch of usernames and make it look acceptable. Thing is, do we want to take the game off site?
