Opti reluctantly took a sip of his pint . More down in the dumps than a hungover Eeyore on a wet Sunday afternoon when his anti depressants were wearing off .

"Nothing good ever happens to me " said Optimistic in his usual pessimistic , downbeat , melancholy voice ....."Being killed by a wolf would be the best thing to happen to me , anything better than trying to put on my happy penguin face all the time "

The wolf then mumbled .....
......." if I don't kill you soon Opti , I'll end up killing myself first " said an unusually downbeat Wolf.

Optis misery was infectious to all ...

...." just take these pills and do us all a favour " said the wolf .

Opti guzzled the whole bottle of Xanax that the wolf had passed to him , and in a rare display of happiness he rolled over to embrace his eternal sleep.

Opti was GOOD.... VERY GOOD!

HappyHornet had been dragged to the wolfs lair. In front of her stood a giant TV screen. It completely filled her eyesight. It was then she realised he couldnt blink. Her eyelids had been forcibly held open by the metal contraption on his head.

From behind, a voice spoke with a wolverine husky tone.

" We wolves are a competetive bunch. Coming up with new ways of murdering our victims is our greatest challenge. I feel the chaps down at the club will very impressed with this one." Wolfie sipped his Old Fashioned cocktail.

" Like all the great Bond villains I plan to give you an in depth explanation of how I plan to kill you rather than just killing you...... Ive decided to bore you to point of insanity, then I will bore you even more, till your previous insanity feels like a sweet heaven. Then and only then will you die the most horrific death as you realise the sheer, utter pointlessness of existence....not just yours but every living being on this planet"

At this juncture the wolf pressed play on the TV remote. On the screen the graphic read...

Why can't we make the right bloody choices? And now hopefully we'll have the backup Seer.

Also doesn't the Geneva convention prevent torture for HH24?

The wolves clearly think I'm no threat!!!

This does actually narrow it down a lot though. I'll go through in a bit listing my thoughts on good and bad. Probably about 3.30 when I'm home and have time.

 

Funnily enough, of the 10 players left you are one of the few I'm not sure of. We both asked for PJ to be viewed yesterday by the seer. Maybe they can today.

I will quite happily take the blame for Grrwood. I thought he was evil from some of the things he said on day 1, plus not voting on day 1, voting late on day 2 etc. anyways....

I wonder if Opti could have been the witness ? I'm wondering if being such an experienced player, if he was the seer, would his messages have been more helpful and consistent ?

 

This is starting to get desperate , we need an evil tonight or we are down to 8 players...... 5 good 3 evil is not odds I like.

Am going to keep my counsel till the messages.

Opti confirming Grrwood was good, he would't necessarily know this if he was the seer, as he hadn't viewed him. But he would have have known who was in team evil though.

Based on the fact most of my theory's have been crap this could be complete bolloks !

 

I know it's at the discretion of Harrow but surely we'll get a Back Up Seer? Team Evil are making mincemeat out of us!

Also @Harrow Orn can you confirm whether a witness would be "Very Good" or just "Quite Good"?

Well at this rate it will be a random lynching. Will be much more fun if we get a second message!

So in summary, no one can be ruled out for lynching today. In the interest of fairness I guess we vote for someone who is inactive today. (After second message)

 

FFS. Last night was a disaster.
So what exactly does VERY GOOD mean ?
I'm gonna try and look back over Opti's posts to see if anything stands out.

If he was the Seer, all of those votes make sense to me. Ybot as an inactive as he'd only viewed Ashdon; Daft Row as he knew he'd viewed him as evil (even if he couldn't be sure if he was the Tinker); Cthulhu (hadn't been viewed but was the most vocal in trying to get me lynched when Opti believed I was the Harlot); WAS (Opti hadn't managed to view a single genuine Evil, but WAS was pushing Grrwood when Opti knew that it had to be the Wolf's message, and he tried to influence who the Seer viewed early doors).

 

So going from PJs post , Opti was the seer .

In a sense that s better than Guardian and or witness being killed as at least we ll hopefully get a back up seer .

 

I don't think they are called up. The Guardian was called out as the Guardian by Harrow Orn when he was killed last game. He was Good. He was also the Guardian or something similar. No reference to the Witness last game. Did we even have one last game?

Maybe that's changed for this game? I don't know 100%.

 

Almost certainly but would like Harrow to confirm though. I've never played in a game with a witness before.

If i remember these were quite early on, before the 2nd message ?? I thought it was also strange that he was suggesting a random lynching before the 2nd message.

Suggesting a 2nd message would be fun after Ashdon had been named as good was a bit strange. Why or who would have wanted it mixed up or the 2nd message to make it fun ?

Saying good start to someone who had just been named in the first message as good - that could easily have been a message to the other wolves about an easy kill.

Also he didn't vote on day 1

 

Blimey, you're a suspicious person! I'm still not sure about you but not voting for Ybot on the first day is in your favour. Pretty sure that all of Team Evil will have wanted to hide in the large Ybot crowd at that stage. 7 players voted for someone other than Ybot, and 5 of them are now dead Good players. The only two left are me and you.

 

Understand that.
I work on the basis of day 1 and day 2 wolfs, guardians, seers, witnesses, traitors are all trying to get information out to share with each other.
I was surprised that no one else picked up on his FUN comment. Usually that sort of thing gets picked up quite quickly

 

As you say WAS the only thing that really stands out about Opti's posts (via who he voted for) is that the seer should view you. If he was the seer then wouldn't he just do it the next day without announcing it or was he leaving a clue in case he got killed ?

Will we even get a message today ?

Something that's just occurred to me and should've thought about it earlier...

Since the wolves discovered each others' identities after the Diamond kill, they don't need to influence the voting unless it looks like it's leading towards a wolf. They can sit back, laughing as we lynch another Good player and then kill at night.

I think we need to look at quiet and non-committal players over the last couple of days. Anyone who has led a lynching against a Good player since the Diamond kill is probably a villager with the wrong end of the stick.

 

Look at voting time, if we're voting a good they'll jump on.

 

It would be good to hear more from Otter and Suibba to why they are suspicious of NW.

They might have different reasons, but as we are getting down to less players, it would be good to hear what they are.
