Voted moog. That post by HH24 is the clincher for me. That's some smarts shown right that.

 

That is actually a very useful reason to keep you alive, actually.

If you protect yourself tonight, we will know whether you are the guardian or not. If you don't, you cannot come out with the excuse that you are the tinker. You will be confirmed evil.

If we get rid of you tonight, we'd have no way of knowing whether Moog was the tinker or someone evil tomorrow.

 

I have maintained that you are the top suspect. I have queried a few others like Squibba and Dom, yes. But you are the one who has been subtly preventing people from voicing their opinions. That does not help the village folk.

If I survive I'm protecting myself tonight anyway. That should prove I am telling the truth.

 

Yup. Please go for Moog. Worst case scenario is he is the tinker and I can prove myself as the Guardian tomorrow.

If I wasn't the Guardian, the Guardian simply wouldn't protect me.

While the villagers were arguing in the street about what tonight's outcome would be, one man pushed himself into the front of the crowd.

"THIS IS ENOUGH!" shouted Optimistichornet.

He produced a pistol and shot Harrow Orn with a silver bullet, who screamed and fell to the floor writhing in agony. Red blood was splattered all over his trousers.

The crowd looked stunned as Optimistichornet holstered his weapon, two of the villagers tended to his injuries and called 999.

An ambulance came and took Harrow Orn away.

"The red proves he's good you idiot!" screamed Meh!


**** Harrow Orn cannot post for the remainder of the day as he's in hospital ****

**** He cannot be killed by a wolf tonight ****

**** He will be returned to the village tomorrow ****

I'm a gunslinger. I have a limited number of shots with a silver bullet. I had a daytime shot, and a night-time shot. I plan on using the night-time shot to protect myself in case of future wolf attacks, but thought I could help clear up the mess here today.

Harrow Orn is in hospital, he cannot be killed by a wolf tonight nor can he be lynched.

I think people would have voted for Moog anyway, based on the logic above, so maybe you've used that awesome power too soon.

Edit: although thinking about it, now the guardian doesn't need to protect themselves tonight, giving any extra day of protection hopefully.

as far as I understand it their vote stands. everyone has to vote for moog now, no question.

 

I thought about it, trust me. I was debating for a long time, but like I said my gun doesn't just hold one bullet and a full moon also brings a handy extra round. To be honest I was convinced Moog was good and wanted to try to save him from a lynching, but this has worked out just as well.
