But not before noticing he’s the shape of one.
Then he needs to stop cultivating and start harvesting!
Could start with some hummingbirds.
In better shape now than when he joined?
Marginally at best.
That's a resounding "no".
Is that a match ball under your top or are you just pleased to see me.
He’s attained the physique of a renowned professional footballer. Unfortunately that footballer is Neil “Razor” Ruddock.
Needs minutes. You don't turn your nose up at a former England International. Will be like a new signing.
To be fair, from a few pictures I've seen from people at the game he doesn't look huge at all.
Nice little interview on Cycling GK with Rose.
He's definitely trimmed down since joining.
If you haven't watched the Danny Rose interview on Ben's YouTube channel then give it a watch. Not very long at all but he speaks well. He seems like a calm and measured guy and I can see him being quite important for the squad this season.
Luckily having stake written on his chest has given him something to run for
Still looks pretty chunky in the video mind you.
Danny's diet is a work in progress I would suggest
He clearly both has lost a decent amount of weight since signing, and is not in the shape you would naturally expect of a Premier League footballer. The omens are good given the direction of travel so far, though, and Deeney has spent the past six years not in the shape you would naturally expect of a Premier League footballer, so we can certainly forgive Mr Rose this as it stands.
Just watched it. Interesting when he said Pedro was the player that has impressed him the most in training.
Especially when he’s supposedly been injured, so doesn’t say much for the rest of the squad.
At Stevenage tonight to support Tottenham U23s who he trained with last year. Class act.
That lad is a bit young for Under 23!
If he plays this weekend, three of Ross’s first four league games for us this season will have been against former clubs of his.
Excuse my predictive text
Has settled in really well, think he is an excellent asset for the club and comes across like a leader in the dressing room.
Another good deed by Danny .
Great thing to do and to do it on the quiet, not looking for any publicity. Seems a good guy.
Was getting a lot of stick from Leeds fans yesterday:
It’s all good banter until some brainless moron throws a bottle.
Love Danny, he can certainly give as good as he gets. Plus he's starting to show that he's a very decent footballer as well.
Classy from the Leeds fans as always
Is there history between Danny and Leeds fans from his Spuds days? Or are they just being their usual unpleasant selves?
Left them as a kid to go to Tottenham
I assume it's because Danny left Leeds at 16 or 17 to join Spurs. Which is why I think they were calling him a money grabber yesterday.
I thought it was almost the other way round? They’re calling him a fat ******* and he’s saying ‘yeah but I’m rich’.
For leaving a sinking ship in League 1 for a big Premier League club? Ffs, deluded ****s!
