Yes, I saw it. John moaned about his post being delivered to the post office in Croxley, then when he went to get it they were closed for lunch. He was quite outspoken about it. Then someone pointed out that if he'd taken the time to look up opening times it was there in black and white. John said the PO in Rickmansworth was so much better because you could pick up your post all day, then someone said you can pick up your post from the Croxley PO up to 11pm, unlike Ricky. Then it all kicked off.

There's a 'watford paving' smart car parked on the junction at the top end of the bank along Toms Lane, it's blocking the junction so that none of the residents of Toms Lane are able to see around the corner. I was pulling out for work this morning and almost got hit by another car coming down the road because I was completely blind because of this car! I called Watford paving and asked them to move it on Friday to which I got a unsolicited and frankly rude call from who I presume is the owner of the car who said that there was no problem with it but would move it forward for us (a fair compromise) and it's now Monday and it's still not gone (or even moved for that matter). If Watford paving is reading this Please move it before we get it towed! You're not welcome on Toms lane and if it happens again there will be consequences

Probably because of lot of them rely on the dog for decorating suggestions.

 

Lots of ‘but my dog is better behaved than most kids’. Probably the same people that let their darling ****ypoos potter around the park unrestrained to interfere with big dogs on leads and get indignant when you suggest that they don’t.

 

@nornironhorn I’m going to Derry this weekend to visit some of my other half’s family out there, they live in a little village but we’re staying in the city and we’ll have most of the weekend to ourselves. Any suggestions for stuff to do in the area please? Thanks!
