It's looking like a terrible league next season. Wouldn't surprise me if Brum and Wrexham go up.

Probably favourites behind the 3 relegated clubs.

I suppose that could have been us and Gino would have sacked Cleverley anyway .

Brum have basically done themselves a favour by getting relegated and not having to worry about FFP, a few additions and they’ll be up there.

Wrexham getting promoted will be a money printing machine so I’d be amazed if they didn’t throw the kitchen sink at it. I guess the only question mark is at what point does Phil Parkinson reach his level of incompetence.

If Norwich appoint Clevs and they get relegated - can everyone stop crying?

Genuinely wouldn’t surprise me if Wrexham do go up. The FA will cream themselves with the prospect of it so they will do everything they can do make it happen

The double punishment is used if they feel the player makes a valid attempt to get the ball but still commits a professional foul. The Bristol City defender made no attempt to get the ball so the double punishment was correct. i agree t ruins the game but the ref got it right and would have been slaughtered had he not sent him off

I'm not convinced Wrexham have any players that are Championship level - would need a total rebuild. It's cake to climb from non-league to L1 with a higher budget than everyone else - the Championship is a totally different proposition and I think they'll struggle. Birmingham on the other hand look set up for an Ipswich.

Soton and Leicester could easily drop into the Watford/Norwich echelons if they start poorly but nobody is as **** as Luton to achieve the back-to-back feat.

Next season I expect a struggle from Blackburn, WBA are in financial dire straits, Oxford, Pompey and Preston.

...now to get that totally wrong.

Yep don't think the ref got it wrong, but it's a poor rule I think. And what was defender thinking - Moore hardly looked confident ambling onto the through ball and keeper was on the way out.

Really surprised there’s been no commentary on last night’s play-off game. Can Coventry turn it round or are the semis going to be a repeat of last seasons’s one-sided affairs?

It will be a sheff utd v sunderland final, these 2 teams are a cut above the other two.

Sheff utd will win the final IMO and the fans can enjoy another season of getting thumped every week in the premiership.

Fancy Coventry to make a fist of it in second leg. Red card killed the other game stone dead.

Yeah I’d go along with this, Cov have nothing to lose and I expect it’ll be a good game - can see it going the distance.

The ridiculous red card in the Bristol game has unfortunately killed that tie dead.

Repeat of the amazing “Frank Lampard’s Derby”comeback vs Leeds a few years ago ?

I think it was a red tbh but did end the tie really .

Sunderland not had the best home form recently so might get a bit nervous if Cov start well .

I thought the double jeopardy rule had been struck off? Happy to hold my hands up if wrong but felt overly harsh and just killed it as a spectacle.

I think they felt he had made the foul before going for the ball but suppose it’s all subjective and another ref might have seen it differently?

Seeing the Southampton players celebrating 12 > 11 points made our PL team of weak-willed embarrassing quitters look good.

£574 to watch Middlesbrough? That’s shocking, given the economically depressed nature of that area and the fact that they haven’t been in the PL for years. And they haven’t got a basket case owner like Sheff Wed.

Were their tickets as expensive before they got promoted or have they really drunk the Premier League Kool-Aid?

Not sure I could justify spending £14.80 to watch Bayo miss another sitter from four yards out. Even so, Derby's ST is only £3.00 less than ours and they played much more entertaining football than we did post Xmas.

But “Our Tom - the best ever “..

Shows how we really did lack any great attacking quality without Baah.

Is Clev going to Norwich then? Absolutely peak Gino to not only miss out on compo, but to fork out money compo instead…

Was linked even before he was sacked as being on their short list but nothing official .

I think some would be very surprised if he walked into another Championship job .
