Burnley, who of course were soooo much better than Sheffield United in the Prem last season! I feel we were fortunate to get promoted when we did in 2015, when Sunderland (and Hull the next season) were repeatedly stinking up the division and some of the big clubs like Newcastle and Villa were in their banter eras, but now it's extraordinarily difficult to stay up in the Prem as a promoted club

 

I assume he doesn't hate the huge wads of cash he 'earned' from his stint?

I assume he has forgotten his Covid misdemeanors or has retrospectively joined the cabinet and it's therefore allowed?!

Surely even L*t*n have to sack the manager eventually? Ten away defeats in a row is abysmal for a team just down from the PL and don’t forget they spent very little trying to stay up last year (rightly). Despite the cost of the new stadium, they really should be making a better fist of the league than this.

 

Their first away win will come late February.

 

We should a put in a Jan bid for their strikers.

Without doubt we wan Rob to stay on there, he doesnt seem to have the first clue on how to turn their season around. Last thing we want is someone half competent going in there and stopping their impending relegation

The bluffer is on his way. Terrible news to be fair. He was found out in the end, has them playing terrible football with awful tactics. Didn’t have them fit at the start of the season and a load of injuries followed - exactly what he did with us. Can’t believe people fell for the…he got them promoted, so he must be good bluff. Luton will improve massively now as they actually have a decent side.

When they got thumped 5-1 at Boro back in November, there were still fans at the end of that game applauding!! That’s the game that afterwads Edwards allegedly handed in his resignation only for it to be rejected… what a shame

I'm not sure that's the case. They lost players over last summer, didn't replace them and most of the rest of the squad really isn't that great. They peaked two years ago and got on a bit of a run, they were dreadful in the Premier League but people liked them because they made an effort! I don't think they will go down but doubt you will see huge improvements

 

Barkley is a huge miss, but they must have known they were never going to be able to keep him due to his quality and wages, so they should have replaced accordingly.
