They missed a trick, I hear this striker called Arooj is very good and perfect for this division

Seems to be going well for them, that is one mental result against the Saints.

This after 2 of their players left to join Southampton!

Saints had more possession but were really poor at the back .

If it doesn’t work out for Martin there he can always go back to Swansea who haven’t won a game yet .

Today seemed to underline this point I made around the whole xG/chances created/goals scored debate - unsurprisingly when we come up against a team who aren't just sitting behind the ball all game, the opponent ends up being more exposed defensively and so we have more space to create decent chances and score. Shame our frailties in defence also get more exposed at the same time, mind.

Well looks like a classic case of the Championship being so unpredictable results wise today .

Ipswich are going to be Champions. There I said it. Most together squad of players who know how they play and will be very tough to beat.

I’ve seen enough to suggest that we will be absolute fine this season. We look well drilled and well organised. Some things need to change but I reckon we finish 9th this year. Missing out on the playofffs by between 7 and 9 points in the end.

If we have finally sorted our goal drought I think we have got a decent shot at the playoffs. A point at Coventry is no mean feat, and if our defence had not had a collective brain fart we would have romped away with a win.

As mentioned by other posters with stats to back it up, the table after only 5 games will probably be mostly turned on its head by the end of the season.

For those who have faith, or who believe in the Bob Dylan school of Championship philosophy:

‘The first shall be last and the last shall be first, and the losers now will be later to win, for the times they are a changin’ …’

We’ll get it together and be in the playoffs.

Struggling to jump on the 'we will be ok, playoffs here we come" bandwagon after a point at Coventry.
We've 5 points from 5 games including home games vs Plymouth, QPR and Blackburn.
Injuries and suspensions will kick in.

Yes unacceptable. We need to be established in the prem or winning promotion. Anything else for a club of our stature is failure.

First time in a long time where i’m slightly disappointed that the International break has arrived. Usually it’s a massive blessing that we don’t have to watch our tosh team ruin our weekends for a few weeks.

The supposed standards that our owners have set for us suggests that the results have been crap, but none of the games have been boring, and maybe other than the Stoke game, I’ve enjoyed all the matches so far.

Hi not sure where to put this, but Leeds Away tickets went on sale today only 250 left for Cat A in sections B2 and B3. I have noticed away fans also have sections B1 and B4 but you cannot purchase them as yet as locked. I am Cat C so will ring club tomorrow to see if they are opening up those sections for Cat C purchases on Wednesday. Just wondered if anybody has any prior knowledge on this. Thanks.

All those years in the premier League, all those years of parachute payments and still you have the Watford inferiority complex.

Your ambition is a mediocre as your personality

Leicester 2 up at Southampton inside 20 mins. Both times intercepting passes out from the back high up the pitch. Home crowd sound well pleased.

3 goals after 3 defensive errors. We are well suited to this division.

Vardy, Mavididi, Winks, Dewsbury-Hall, Ndidi, Pereira, Iheanacho. Leicester should piss this league, and they likely will

Long season and all that but not looking great so far for the football hipsters' favourite Russell Martin...

Nine goals conceded in the last two games. Martins better sort that back line out or they might not be the top six finishers many have them nailed on as. Take nothing away from Leicester though, they were superb tonight and rightly dominated to a thumping win. Southampton fans' must be sick of Leicester, having lost 9-0 in the same fixture less than five seasons back.

Russell Martin is a hilariously overrated manager. Southampton have a very good (albeit not as good as Leicester, theirs is Prem quality) squad, but to concede 9 in two games is poor.

If Leicester don’t win the league then something is wrong

Leeds turning on the style today. I am dreading when we play Millwall. They gave us two serious hidings last season and one was off the back of our best run of the campaign. I just hope our new found confidence and spirit can at least match them on the pitch this time.

Not saying Hoedt and Porteous are Prem standard or anything, but they are better than who we had in defence last season, and with Sierralta at DM, that's more physicality than we had last season

I think what they need is a game against us. That should sort them out. I believe they've booked in for a therapy session at the Vic a week on Saturday.

God this is a bizarre post match interview from X. Munoz. Pretending he does understand, not even attempting to answer simple questions, hiding behind humour, deflecting it onto his players. I think winning promotion with Watford made him leap forward in his career so unnaturally and he has been horribly found out, just like he was in the Premier League. His last game against Leeds was absolutely hopeless, we looked so devoid of any plan whatsoever and I can imagine it's the same at Wednesday now. 0 shots on target at home is dreadful.
