Bad news for us. Peterborough would have struggled next season. SW will be comfortable.

Didn't watch either of the two Championship second legs (not out of spite, I've been bunged up in bed!), but that kind of ending really makes you jealous, of course we all know that a memorable semi-final does not a successful final make necessarily, but you just want us to play big games again and to not have our season fizzle out so quickly!

 

League 1 is clearly more fun than the championship. I wouldn't mind relegation so the footballs a bit more interesting...

We had a league match at Cumberland and were having supper.

They had the Spam match on in the bar and golf in the dining room. Mr IBB had texted to say he couldn't get the tennis on so Spam it was over supper.

When it has finished and we were waiting for the traditional profiteroles I noticed it had changed to Sheff W. I assumed it was a replay of the game but when I looked again I saw the score!

We listened to extra time on our way back down the Finchley Road.

It must be nice to be fans of a club that sees Wembley as something super new and exciting, rather than somewhere you’ve seen your side play 4 times in (as it then was) 6 years.
