I was wrong about signing him, and pleasantly surprised at how well, and intelligently, he played. Imposed himself on games through doing the simple things well. I wish him well.
I mocked us signing him like many of us on here, but he did a good job for us IMO. Having said that we would not have a place for him in our PL squad next season as his PL playing days are probably behind him, but I reckon he could still do a job for another Championship team next season and I don't think he would let them down.
did way better than anybody thought, not that he could have done worse. Was a very useful player to bring on to see a game out. Reading he made a huge difference
He was the player we needed at the right time, put himself in the shop window (although a every decreasing shop window because of his age), earnt a few bob and helped us get promoted! that's exactly as to why he was signed, job done we go our separate ways, however good luck to him will always be welcome back!
