Was going to say, it’s a great signing for the future and he’ll do well for them but nothing from his loan at Bristol Rovers suggests he has a current level similar to that of Wiley.
I've spent a lot of time in Atlanta. Wiley can play, especially as a wing back. Has pace to spare, knows where the goal is (for a wing back) and is a serviceable crosser of the ball. Was durable in MLS and in CONCACAF matches (which are roughly equivalent to Millwall matches in Spanish - the basic strategy is kick the Americans until the bones start to poke through the skin). I suspect any fitness issues were a result of settling in with a non-English speaking fitness staff after a long season. Atlanta regularly draws crowds twice the size of ours (TBF up to 70,000) so intimidation won't be a factor. Definitely worth a punt. The main down side I would see is he needs some work defensively in a flat back 4.

This guy - or at least someone that looked very much like him - was in a box in the UGT down the Rookery end today with an entourage...
I thought we played very well with 10 men against a capable Norwich team going forward. So yes I agree with you. Welcome to the Vic Caleb!
Dear all This is confirmed according to my sources. Just some T's to dot and some I's to cross before we announce it. Kind retards Tim
Pretty much impossible to tell how good he is due to the MLS being such a comedy league. It's asking a lot of some kid who's never played English football (and barely any in Europe) to come into such a dysfunctional club in rotten form and perform but you never know...
I'm worried that it's a straight choice between him and Ward-Prowse. We're trying hard to get them both and might fail to get either as we fail to focus on a smaller number of dedicated targets. Maybe the Pozzo's ambitious strategy is spreading them too thin and could work against us.
I thought the only reason for playing a back five this season is because Tom doesn't think any of his full backs or centre backs are good enough to play in a four.
Rewind to the same conversation Marco Silva had when we ended up with Zeegelaar You could see the spark leave Silva that day
Not available for a few more weeks, Gino Pozzo you've redeemed yourself. I hope Mogi got a nice fee for sealing the deal on this one.
Welcome, Caleb - best of luck to you. I'm seeing comments on here suggesting Tom didn't want him. Therefore, we can expect to hear Tom say about how he was exactly the type of player we were looking for and he fits the profile perfectly - or something like that.
Just what this squad needs for our immediate issues of injured players: a medium term injury which will then need time to bring to match fitness at the tail end of this season. I don't care about if he could be good or not if he's not available. Good ******* lord.
I think he’s a good player from what I’ve heard. But we needed a LB on Jan 1 for the rest of the season, if he’s only fit on March 1, that that’s of pretty limited utility.
