    Sad news, he was the manager when I started supporting the club. I guess he's the reason I'm still knocking about these forums nearly 20 years later!

    My dad has it (although he got diagnosed at a similar time to having two strokes, so it's hard to know what's a result of Parkinson's & what's a result of the strokes).

    Either way, it isn't a nice thing, although there seems to be a good bit of support out there for people living with it from a social perspective which is great.

    Similar here, a TIA was the first indicator for us. I reckon a good 10 years prior to an official Parkinson's diagnosis but looking back on it a gradual decline is difficult to detect. Hillingdon's lifeline service was a godsend. Other services variable.
