Although the trailer for his next video shows him cycling through his own bloodstream to hang out with Covid, chat, take on a pancake challenge etc etc
Ben eats covid for brekko, and he’s giving away a signed copy of Omicron’s genetic code on his next pod
Same as when we were pushing for promotion and he got Watford into the Guiness Book of Records for Stevie Palmer wearing all the squad numbers in a season. It was good publicity for the club.
I think the 2 points are hardly the same. Palmer wearing 1-14 meant he could still have played in his correct position barring a few seconds where he started in goal for one game when there was zero risk (the opposition had already made an allowance for it happen and for the ball to be kicked out from kick-off). Foster larking about wearing opposition shirts, disgruntling home fans by getting opposition fans in among them and generally being pally with players who have smashed goals past him - you really think GT would have been okay with that? Not a chance. The difference being he wouldn’t have done it under GT as standards were set back then - he would have known he wouldn’t get away with it before he had even started.
Foster out for a few more weeks apparently. https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...date/?action=success#comments-feedback-anchor Got the impression from his latest video he was almost fit .
He says he's 'almost fit', but then that it will be a few more weeks before he's available - if that is the case, then you're not bloody 'almost fit', are you? A few more weeks is essentially a month, at least. An extremely impactful month, at that. Hope the adulation of spotty teenage Youtubers and their collective 3 brain cells was worth it, you chump. If this is true, I don't really care about any other arguments - we should absolutely be going all in for an upgrade in goal on loan. We can't carry on with Bachmann causing problems and costing points (along with all the others). This window is about giving us a fighting chance, and we can't limp meekly along with an incompetent on one hand and a middle-aged man who can barely play for losing himself down through the looking glass with a bunch of internet children on the other, and claim to have given ourselves one. We need to be better than several other teams and outperform our first half of the season strongly. We can't afford any more free giveaways for our opponents - we really can't.
100% agree, although if he is actually available I'm not sure why he would have given that quote earlier this week saying he was still a few weeks away - is this the club trying to peddle some false hope, or is he just a blithering idiot?
He's the one who said he was weeks away; it's the club who have published the suggestion that he is back in contention for the game.
Foster is shyt now but was once good so there is hope he might play well. Bachmann is just utter shyt.
Foster makes the games far more enjoyable by not inducing heart failure every time the ball gets crossed in to the box.
Nasty sounding injury . Tried to played on for a while (cough doesn’t mention charity game ) How were his goal kicks on Saturday?
You could see that sliced/drilled ball straight out to Kamara as he advanced up the left wing was a purposeful tactic - bore about as much fruit as it didn't, but it's instantly better than hoofing it straight down the middle to no-one, so here's hoping that link-up gets even more zeroed in as time goes on.
We did the same against Norwich at Carrow Road, and say what you like about the opposition, but it worked then, good to see us try it again more
It appears that someone most of us like H Gomes, thinks that Ben Foster is a great guy, whereas many people on here dislike him, interesting that
