Avatars

I've noticed the few WFC avatars I've made are popular. Who else would you like to see made into an avatar?

Had problems popping my own in. Says that the directory is write protected?

 

I'll help make some.

Just need to know what the min and max size of them should be and waht file types are supported

 

That's not to say that the supplied avatars aren't good because they are.

 

True, I like the supplied ones, was thinking of doing an avatar with all of them rotating.

I use Painshop pro, which i dont know if your aware is a graphics workshop tool, i make tags and desktops, if i can be of assistance in this then let me know, again i would need to know the Max Dims and what files are supported.

Ashley Young has one up there now. Basically the size of the little player ones is 65 x 65 at 72dpi. To keep things uniform they all have this as the border...



I can usually keep them under 2kb in size.

 

...and just changed the avatar folder so you should all be able to upload yor own.

whats the largest size you can have, 100 x 100 or 65 x 65?

 

Not sure there's a limit, think I'm taking the mickey a little bit as it is.

I've got a 64 Mb Panarama of the millenium stadium I was thinking of using.

 

the one i am showing is 150 x120... it has shrunk from the original to fit

 

Now in my sig qourtesy of foster26.

 

150x150 is the maximum avatar size, and about 128k. I think these will shrink to 120x120 and 30k quite soon.
