Watch with Mother featured Bill and Ben, Andy Pandy, and The Wooden Tops.... Also in the 70's we had Follyfoot, The Flaxton boys, Sebastian, Here come the The Double Deckers, The Tomorrow people, The Ghosts of Motley Hall, Worzel Gummidge and Catweazle. I've just had a right little trip down memory lane there.
Wow those puppets are nightmare fuel... I know technology was limited back then but surely they could of carved something a bit more pleasant for young children!
I’d just like to point out that in Tales of the Riverbank, which was live action not animated, Hammy the Hamster did all his own stunts.
You'd have thought a game against a side two divisions below us would have been an ideal time to give this guy a start. Instead Cleverley played Morris which makes it very clear what he thinks of Tikvic. A nonsense signing from Pozzo again.
To be honest, I think the previous post is right. It’s pretty common knowledge that Cleverley thinks Tikvic isn’t up to it and is just here to provide balance in training sessions.
Although Tikvic does have some qualities I've praised, his actual defending has been poor and his tempremant in games is volatile, riling and getting riled up too easily.
He didn’t do anything wrong last night. And he gets plus points in my book for pointing out the 5-0 scoreboard to an enemy player. Funnily enough Louza was a lot more worked up than Tivic. Nice to see him showing passion but it was not very helpful or necessary imo.
Going against the flow of opinion on here, but I like Louza, if his head is in the game, and he can keep a lid on his attitude then he's a cracking player.
He celebrated with the squad at Millwall despite not getting on the pitch, he played well against MK Dons, So far so good eh?
He really didn't do much aside from the excellent pass. His general energy levels still seem below those of most of the rest of the squad.
Player of the season so far for me. Don't remember him putting a foot wrong. An incredible use of the loan system. Proves that these players are out there if you cast your scouting net far enough. Whoever the owner of the club is that allowed this generational talent to leave for a season must have no idea what they're doing.
First half against Fulham he actually looks very decent on the ball, not the best 1vs1 though but could try him out next to Louza in midfield? Can’t do a worse job than Kayembe
Someone just had to say he was having a decent game... That said, the original error was from Kayembe.
I don't fault him for the penalty for that exact reason. Take that away from his game tonight and he looked alright, considering he was up against strikers who play at much higher level than we normally would. Is he in the running for a start? Probably not but he's not a player I think Clevs should overlook going forward.
Can only assume that his loan to us has been made permanent then in order to free up a loan from udinese
Was made permanent in August according to the club comms, God knows why they didn’t tell us there and then!
Probably because it had been made public knowledge that cleverley didn’t want him and they were saving face by not telling everyone they’d made it permanent
We signed him permanently?! The club kept that one quiet. Then again, as long as the usual suspects’ pockets are lined who am I to say….
Well they usually start with "delighted" or "pleased" to welcome a player and they just couldn't bring themselves to write "non-plussed"
On a technical level, Tikvic is actually OK. He can pick a pass and carry forward with some mobility; not quick, but not slow. Its his concentration that really let's him down as every game he's played for us featured a mistake of some kind whether it was pre-season or cup. If he can work thay through he's honestly not that bad as I can see something there but it's completely dependent on him working on his fundamental defending skillset as well as his hot headed temperament.
