I thought Santiago was Norn, are you Opti Cancun?
Well played evil.
Yeah well played, Istanbul played a blinder, a new way to play the game rather than hiding in the shadows. Enjoyed that.
It's easier playing a lively wolf when most of the good villagers are being quiet though. Never played a game with so little activity.
I thought Zagreb was Squibba simply because Squibba rarely gets up in the mornings! It was certainly the case when I ran games
Other than Venice as Moog I never really thought about who was who.
Nope! Santiago this time, was Elche last time.
In hindsight, perhaps I shouldn't have had masons in the pot for full moon. It suddenly became very quiet, as everyone suddenly mistrusted each other. I thought that voting patterns would help to eventually reveal allegiances, but there weren't many really tight votes in the game.
Woo Hoo! Well done Team Evil!
Aha! You were another candidate for Istanbul in my head.
It was tighter than it should have been.
I was well chuffed that I worked you and Istanbul out before the villagers!
FFS, enacting the backup Seer actually made it more difficult for me; I just couldn't believe that it would have been done so late on in the game.
Ahh, that explains a lot. You were annoyingly good.

I was intentionally acting roguishly and suspiciously on Friday (and also a bit on Thursday) because I'd figured that my best chance of not being killed by the wolves was to maintain the illusion that I could still be the Harlot Traitor - since being named by the Alpha on Day 3 a few people stated that could still be a possibility so I decided to roll with it.
Obviously once Helsinki had outed themselves as the Harlot I couldn't hide behind it anymore, but I figured it would still serve my survival chances the most if I continued to remain ambiguous.
Would you really have voted to kill Istanbul over Tokyo on the final day? It definitely seemed like you trusted Istanbul a lot more than Toyko.
To be fair, there was only one day when there was little going on - mainly because there had been two “good” views and nothing concrete to debate.
Norn, you played an absolute blinder.
Likewise. Sorry Squibba!
True. Well done norn - chuffed that I guessed it was you.
I have to say well played to you HH24 as well, you were never on my radar.
I still had the opinion I stated on Day 4 about how baffled I was that Istanbul had survived on my mind come the final day.
And it was Tokyo repeatedly claiming that they were the backup Seer which in the end actually convinced me they must have been spouting incoherent b*****ks.
I genuinely couldn't say which way I'd have voted without that. I really could have gone either way and without the Seer thing the decision would have been much more difficult.
I'm actually really annoyed at that.
Of all the days, I couldn't get online much today. I was working from home most of last week so could be active but today was very difficult. Sorry about that but it was just terrible timing!
Still hoped that Fes would accept me changing my mind about them would show I was good. I really did think he was evil until Mike confirmed otherwise. Shocker!
The thing is, even if you were tempted to go for Istanbul, without the message Tokyo was so sure that you were evil that he would have voted for you. Then Istanbul would have simply killed you to win the game.
That's why I created the back up seer on the penultimate day. It stopped the final day being a procession, and required a really good message to give Good a chance to win, but an evil victory was always more likely.
Maybe, but I had some confidence that I could have convinced whoever was remaining on the final day and could have explained my behaviour - I'd even had a long message I'd written over the weekend already typed out in preparation for if/when attention eventually turned to me.
Another very enjoyable game, thanks @miked2006 for running it, and also being generous on the first day when I completely forgot to vote.
I think the anonymous games are much better, there are no pre-conceptions, and as the aftermath shows people very rarely guess the right username for each character. It also stops people being targeted early just because of their previous reputation for playing the game well (thinking Diamond, Otter, Norn). The games are much more pure on logic and behaviour like this.
Nice to see the thought I put into my Seer's messages last game being replicated (improved!) this time, think this will be a feature to come. But the first time a Wolf guesses the code first, it'll be very amusing...
Edit: I feel like a little like the mythical Cassandra after calling all three of Team Evil right last time, then being sure Cancun was the Beta-Alpha this time and not convincing anyone and still ending up on the losing side...
We did some predictions a few days back of players and their roles - I was actually pretty accurate in suspecting Helsinki and Istanbul...I just wish those still playing had the same suspicions!
And even if it hadn't been successful then I could have at least more readily accepted it as having made some sense.
Yeah I have to echo the anonymous games being so much better. I also hate HH24.
If it makes you feel better, I wasted a LOT of time trying to work out that bloody seer code!
Thanks - apologies for eating you; and well done on the Berlin viewing. I was convinced he was good after Day 1; so much so I almost targeted him that night
