Did a job for us at right back last season and can also play RWB. Heard previous managers played him in midfield but I only started supporting Watford last season so I can't comment.

 

He's a very good solid championship player. He's not really had a chance in the premiership, jury's out on whether he can recover the form he had before his weird foot injury.

 

Probably in my top 2/3 all time favourite Watford players. In his injury free seasons he was the best midfielder in the league.

 

He's quality. Undoubtedly would be one of the top 3 midfielders in the division if you landed him, and easily the best if he recaptures even half of his pre-injury form.

As for Almen, I think the jury is still out on if he can be the same after his long term foot injury 2 seasons back. Chances are he'd be a good addition for Sheff Weds and maybe even a great one. I still like him around the squad though so hope they cut someone else and we can try and get an indian summer out of him.

 

They said top teams aren't allowed to have a B team in the league, but once again the Pozzos have found a loophole.

Watching Fessi in another teams colours is hard enough, Almen would be a step too far.

 

Been told he can leave. I rate McGugan personally, but doesn't work hard enough and doesn't suit our style of play. Could easily score 10 plus in this division if the team is built around him, he has quality.

Not so sure - he's been tinned now by Forest, Watford and Sheff Wed. For whatever reason he hasn't taken the numerous chances he has had to be a key part of mid/high end Champ teams. Think his time has gone.

 

A fit Almen Abdi given starts in the right position of the right formation will be fugging awesome for the Owls, not overly blessed with pace, but has an eye for a killer pass and can score some awesome goals. If this is true I may have to make Wednesday my second team so I can continue to support him.

 

I know we have to move on quite a few players but I think he is such a model professional and last season he kept fit and was prepared to play anywhere whilst never letting us down work-rate wise, so I would really doubt we would let him go.

 

Also stop being tight with Pudil! 2 million for a 31 year old left back is too much. Just because you lot had your pants pulled down with the Forestieri deal....

Abdi and Forestierri never gelled together in the Watford first team. If he genuinely is off the SWFC, sure sign that Foriesterri is off to a bigger club.
