Not strictly NFL but I'm sat here watching a rerun of Houston vs. Memphis on ESPNU because I have a 12 day old kid and there's nothing else I can do, but it's getting me in the mood for football season reliving one of the greatest sporting comebacks I've ever had the pleasure of being a part of. The last 2 weeks with basically no sport on TV has been rough.

Ha ha... Just got back from a Galaxy 4-2 win over Seattle in US Open Cup play! Good times!!

So, I thought I might have to become a part time Rams fan since they joined my town this season.
However, it looks like I'll be in Indianapolis for a while... Yay Andrew Luck?
I need to find the Ravens fan group of Indy

I'm ready for this season. Good news is no Indy for me!

I'm working on a plan to get to the Ravens home game vs the Steelers 11/6. My first NFL game!

Hard Knocks wasn't as good as I thought it would be in this year. Although I did enjoy watching my boy Case Keenum.

Just got back from a holiday in Vegas with the lads, and what a time we had!

One thing I noticed is in the sports bars how many multiple screens they had showing different NFL games. I just couldn't follow or keep up. Also watched a bit of college football as well, think it was Utah v Washington, wasn't a bad game actually. Washington were up, but Utah started coming back and then we had to go elsewhere, don't know what the final scoreline was but the young lads supporting Washington when we left the bar looked glum.

Yeah, Utah came back in that one to steal a win over #4 (out of nearly 400 teams) Washington. My team Cal plays Washington next, and while California will probably score 35 points against Washington they'll still lose by 20. I'd say college football is more popular overall than NFL, probably because there are colleges far closer to most folks than NFL teams.

Redskins back to normal service. No run. No defense. The euphoria of week 1 gone already.

Horrific double leg break on Alex Smith there. I hope he can make some kind of a comeback after that.

Brilliant! So glad the patriots won. Now this stupid argument of Montana vs Brady can stop. Brady is the greatest of all time.

I was surprised to see Andrew Luck retiring. Also surprising was the stat that if careers ended after 6 seasons then Andrew Luck would be the 2nd/3rd in TD's and passing yards.

Against all odds the Eagles somehow still in contention for the playoffs.. that fact really makes a case for a single table

  33. Great start to tonight's game. Bills nailed the first drive.

I hope the Texans get humbled at home, and Bill O’Brien and his hideous butt chin finally get canned.

Opening drive, letting the QB run for 40 odd yards and then catch a TD pass to settle any nerves is about as unprepared to play as you can find.
