Yep. Only careerists go along with this idea. Considering GS started his career at Palace you would have thought he may have some sympathy for smaller clubs!
This whole deal is Baah-me. Why give the option to buy? If he does well he could be worth a lot of money. Or we could use him. Hope they've set the buyout sum suitably high, but I doubt it.
Unwanted by us .. And now the Germans it seems. http://sportwitness.co.uk/watford-plans-player-unclear-club-like-end-current-deal-hornets/
I’d get him back for Slav to have a look at him as I saw big promise in him. He’s of an age where he doesn’t take up a permitted slot within the 25 man squad and we need bodies in. Total no brainier if you ask me.
Baah, Baah, Baah, Baah, Baah Varane..? C'mon sing along. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=y...#fpstate=ive&vld=cid:e40a749c,vid:N9AJARHjhqw
I was excited when we signed Baah, he looked like he had all the attributes to become an excellent forward. It just isn't happening for him here and although it could be down to the player I'm deciding to blame the club. If you're a young player stay well away from Watford FC.
He was a £125k punt as a youngster from the lower leagues. I thought that's the kind of deal people on here wished we'd do more of?
Was that the price? I genuinely didn’t know that. Had it in my head it was 7 figures. Still, it seems to me to be another of these signings that will most likely never make an appearance for us. Hopefully I’m proven wrong.
It’s obviously not gone well for him at all so far…but he’s still only 20 years old, can’t completely write him off as a failure yet
Yep, obviously the clubs fault yet we seem to produce and train players big clubs want. Every thread now is just an excuse to bash the owners and it's pretty boring
To be fair, anyone who can take a viable mid-table Premier League club and turn them into a struggling Championship club in just 4 years, deserves a bit of a bashing, imho.
Absolutely they deserve a bashing but not on every single thing. I'm not convinced we were ever viable either
"To be fair", they'd turned us from a struggling Championship club into a mid-table Premier League club in just 3 years.
