But he did make a great goal line clearance, that's got to be worth............... well not a lot in the end as it turned out.
Twitter classics on Pusetto. “No not a £5m loss. You are forgetting loan fees plus player depreciation as a player’s value is written down over the life of the contract. I’d say we are close to break even.” “That’s £3m windfall I had forgotten about. All adds to the Piroe pot.” These numbskulls are not qualified to turn on a calculator never mind post on social media.
Same guy who said £2m for Zink was cracking business because we signing him on a free. How can you reason with a moron?
Haha bloke is doubling down now about the capital depreciation. Presumably he thinks Andre Gray was cracking business because his value on balance sheet was zero when his contract ran out so we broke even. I have to say I am livid at our football club. In order: 1) At the 30% of our fans who enable Pozzo either with the idiocy like the above, or via sycophantic podcasts. We have a ridiculous fanbase that deserves everything it gets. 2) At Pozzo himself. Villain destroying our wonderful club. 3) Bayat and Giaretta. 4) Duxbury - the hapless face of the organisation.
I do enjoy the fact Pussetto, Rose and Foster types feel confident enough to rub it in our faces rather than just quietly steal their livings. All caused of course by the disrespectful, undisciplined culture that ravages our club under Pozzo. We have become a vile, spineless, seedy little club. Can't stand us.
He's drinking mate Cude. The plant is a member of the holly family and its ground leaves are mixed with hot water for an often social caffeinated brew. It's part of the culture of that area especially among the gauchos that includes southern Brazil, Uruguay and south Paraguay.
Tbh we have kind of kicked Rose out but not totally got rid of him and now he is training with other teams - I presume we have allowed it to happen Even let him play in a game ! Pussetto probably forgotten he has played for us .
Despite Duxbury confirming it was wages only, someone just posted on Twitter about the Pussetto fiasco: “oh come on, we get a loan fee for each season retaining his value. That ain’t bad business”. Amazing stuff, even by our fans’ standards.
If you could choose any player to sum up the state of watfords recruitment policy it’s Pussetto. - Brought in when not required - Lack of money spent on position(s) desperate for investment - Loaned out and performs admirably for other team - No return on investment - Hangs around like a bad smell, yet never wears the shirt again
I know Uncle Ron is fixated with Pussetto, but it really is the epitome of Watford/Udinese weirdness. We sign him for £7m, then continually loan him back to Udinese year after year for the entirety of his contract. It’s things like this that really makes you question the legitimacy of Watford’s trading model.
Yes but these things operate both ways seemingly. We have signed WTE, Sierralta and Samir - all then under contract and 2/3 very involved with Udinese’s first team - reportedly for free. Looks like having signed Samir for free in Jan, we’ll get a decent fee for him now. I think Uncle Ron’s argument is that Udinese are exploiting us and that doesn’t really stack up.
