Pretty sure I was one who said I'd rather Phillips was given a chance, not because I think he's good enough but I'd completely written Sanchez off due to his total lack of football over the last few years. Very happy to be proved wrong!
Disappointed with you Steve. You never ever write off a South American with funky hair. It's the number 1 golden rule of football. David Luiz being the expection that proves the rule.
I’m amazed Liam Moore as Reading captain has more than 87,000 Twitter followers. How many does our captain have? But I agree with him, absolutely disgusting and Twitter should be able to identify the perpetrator and further action taken - or this sort of thing will never end!
Big Troy can’t be happy about that. Constantly searching for attention, mouthing off in the press and desperately trying to build a media career and still 100k Chalobah, who is a comparative mute.
Probably the cumulative effect of doing the hard miles being loaned all over the shop as a youngster.
I was at that game and would swear that the ghost goal was at the Rookery end and we were sitting in the Vic Rd end
I honestly don't know that's why I was asking questions. If anyone knows would they please weigh in....
Deeney - 165k Chalobah - 319k The Troidini BTFO once again, by an even larger margin this time around.
I’ll say one thing, it was nice to see Sarr strike the ball with some conviction. Earlier this season, too often in shooting positions, he’d essentially poke the ball toward goal, such was his lack of confidence at the time. His second strike was one of a player full of confidence, which can only bode well for the remaining games.
Layun, after looking lost in the Championship, would have thrived in the Premier League I'm sure, and I think Zinc might. Coming from the Norwegian league to the Championship and then to the Prem will be a steep learning curve for him, but I think he has that something about him. I don't think we've really seen him yet.
He did score in the Premier League, only to be whisked away almost immediately after! Didn't help that he was put in midfield when his best position was full-back/winger, I think it puts in perspective the job Zinck is doing in an unfamiliar position, and might just put off those suggestions I've seen on here that we should play Kiko in midfield!
Yes, I could never understand why we played him out of position when he was an international left back / wing back, perfect for what we needed.
Yes, QSF actually played him in a more natural position on that opening day at Everton on the wing, it was only when Ighalo got into the team as a starter (after scoring as a sub at Goodison Park) that he went 4-4-2 with the two 'inverted wingers'
Yes he was but generally played out of position when Slav was here then got sold after the PL season started despite scoring against Everton.
