Hard to understand this from many points of view. Hope it works though.

 

Really not sure about this at all. It's all gone a bit mental. I'm feeling like a biblical Thomas, but I just can't get my head around this.

At least he knows the club already, doesn't need time to get to know its 'systems'. He inherits a better squad than when he departed so that is promising (the defence aside of course, but hopefully he can organise that side of things quickly as we know he can do).

It's a cautious 'yes' from me.

 

Hope he is not given a contract beyond the end of the season unless and until he proves himself .

I said in another thread what we needed was QSF’s block of 4 and clearly Gino and Scott listened to me. It was all me, your welcome. Javi gone because of me and our best looking coach back because of me. I want a statue outside the club shop.

Not sure why you think relegation. Last time out he had championship players and we were never near the relegation zone. If he can sort the defence out we will be fine.

 

QSF got us 45 points with a poor squad and very few attacking options. It’s a pragmatic appointment, but if we drop out of the Premier League it may be difficult to get back. If I had millions invested in the club, this is exactly the appointment I would have made. He may only be there for a year, and then we can get go back to something more expansive. But if we keep playing as we have been, with the defence that we have got, we will keep getting beat most weeks

 

Now is the time to invest in Kleenex and socks because of RC.

 

I hope you're right. There are certainly advantages about his return.

On the plus side we get to hear a proper chant, not some crap effort by some delinquent - with the swearing meaning it never gets sung by the whole stadium. At least next Sunday we get the whole of the Vic singing.

People have been saying that our defence is as bad as it has ever been in the Prem. So we can't say we've got better players than Florrie had before.

 

Last time out he had Ighalo on a hot streak and Britos and Pr*dl in their prime. He also dispised Holebas and showed unbelievable favouritism to bad players. Under his watch we sold or sidelined all of our wingers. Given that we've just spaffed £40m on a winger, I'm completely baffled by this.

This won't go very well and I'd imagine he won't see out the year when we're entrenched in the bottom 3 at Christmas.

 

Now I need to think about Boris and Cummings to cheer myself up. Relatively.

 

2 banks of 4 and two of Welbeck/Del/Sarr/Gray to create magic up front.

 

Bring on Brexit if it means we can keep him out.
