Fair enough, but I would say criticism of Javi is harsh. He's worked wonders this season, I think frustration is better off being vented at the players who let us down.

I still reckon the chances of us winning the cup are similar to us finishing 7th!

I'm hoping someone asks Javi in the post game interviews to explain what exactly was going on with the musical centre backs game we started playing midway through the second half, because I'm stumped as it stands.

Well, often this season Javi has made tactical changes and subs which have had a telling effect on the results of games. Today was no different. Just this was one of the rare howlers.

Once we changed system I'm not sure we strung more than 3 passes together. We were a couple of yards away from every Wolves player and the team looked pretty confused. Error obviously compounded as before that we were well in charge and, although maybe not schooling them, we didn't look like losing.

Would like to see how much the wind contributed to Foster's error. Worrying that the defence looks so fragile all of a sudden. Cathcart seemed injured too.

    Harsh to blame Gravy

Our captain plays silly boll*x and gets a 3 match ban, Foster gifts goals in 2 games, and the squad has had obvious flaws for 3 seasons

Deeneys stupid red card has cost us Europe imo. Essentially 4 games hes not been with us. And we have struggled a lot without him.

When Gray equalised we looked good. An improved performance and then suddenly Javi hands them the game with one of the most bizzare tactical changes ive ever seen.

Foster again at fault or was it storm Hannah?

Our season is turning into the last three. Terrible ending. Wolves were poor but took their chances. Apart from the Arsenal game, we have been very sub par since that. Our mistakes from seasoned pros are costibg us and imho thats 7th gone now. Wolves can have it. They don't deserve it but we don't either on recent displays.

Yes we have a cup final still but that games is a bit away and we have Chelsea and Wet Spam to go first. Def lose at Chelsea on recent performances and WHU may get a win but i feel so angry and let down today wirh the team for again throwing away what could of been a vital point.

It's typical Watford to have a poor end of season but it seems so out of character especially for Foster. Capoue was lucky to be on the pitch at the end for that shove and Holbes was back in form with a yellow card.

You can say maybe they deserved it today but Gracia has to shoulder that loss due to an inept peice of game management. I feel bad being critical of Foster as he has been awesome for us and is my PotS, but these mistakes are costing us at the end and start of games lately.

Bar Fulham the performances of late have been very average. Our the players heads at Wembely? If so, nothing has convinced me City have much to worry about. Our season isnt over yet, but 4 points from our last two would be welcome.

Top ten is even not quite secure either Im not sure on that? I just feel so deflated after throwing it away.

The worst thing about foster and deeney making errors is that I thought arsenal and wolves were pretty average.

I completely agree and I’m 100% behind Gracia, but you need to take responsibility and today he should just say ‘yep, my bad. wrong sub.’

For what it’s worth we haven’t lost 7th because of that’s sub either. It did lose us this game, but overall simple errors from key players like deeney, Cathcart and foster since the Wembley game have cost us.

Positives: capoue, gray, Hughes and the back 4 all put in a decent shift.

    Negatives:

    1) Gracia. After 65 minutes we were on top and looking like we might go ahead. He then makes a dreadful substitution by removing the effective Hughes and going for a back 3. Momentum changed instantly and Wolves piled forward culminating in the winner. Really poor work from the Manager.

    2) Foster. Awful for the goal. Nearly gave another away with an awful punch. Deserves to be dropped for his extended below par performances.

    3) Pereyra. Looked disinterested and a coward’s challenge for the first goal.

4). Success. What can be said. Has 15 mins to bust a gut and just ambles around doing nothing. Must be removed from squad in the summer. If Gracia seems Peneranda a worse option then ship him out as well. We are going to lose a bundle I guess gut they are write offs.

One of Gracia's few tactical mess ups this season, but Foster is having his first real wobble now and it might unfortunately cost us Europe after he's played such a big role in getting us there.

Crazy decision to switch formation during the second half. That was the end of our attacking threat.

So 7th is gone and even top half looks like it may contrive to evade us.
Rest players (especially Doucoure and Capoue) in the final league games and let’s focus 100% on keeping the cup final defeat to a respectable scoreline.

Get rid of I'm Still Standing, get rid of our new Twitter admin, get rid of Isaac Success and get rid of half of the boring bastards in the SEJ who won't clap if their life depended on it.

Without all of the above, we'd 100% be in Europe right now.

I really don't want to criticise Gracia as he has been amazing for us this season but I am confused to why he thought changing the formation was a good tactical idea when we were well on top. I have no clue what Foster was doing he got caught in no mans land. Unfortunately too many individual mistakes recently have cost us in recent games and I can't see us getting 7th now. I felt that our build up play was good but we just didn't have enough up top, the last few games have shown how important Troy is to our style of play. Personally I would have kept Okaka over Success who offers us absolutely nothing and I would be amazed if Isaac was not out of the door in the summer, we need a better option next season. Troy needs to reflect he is supposed to be our captain and leader but he has cost the club with his stupid and needless red card. I genuinely think that we would have taken at least 4 points from Arsenal and Southampton had he been on the pitch.

So gutted after that . We’ve blown 7th but hopefully can still finish 8th .Thought we played some nice football with Hughes and Pereyra pulling the strings, and Caopoue outstanding but were trying to be too intricate at times . Wolves once again were clinical with their chances and a Foster error cost us again ( though we did benefit from one at the other end for a change ) .

Agree about the kabasele sub . It looked to me like we were about to have our usual last 20 minute surge Of pressure before that abc my only concern was getting caught on the break . Maybe the idea was that Javi was hoping to push Kiko and Jose up to get a bit life width but it just put us on the back foot .

We have really missed Deeney though will be good to have him back against Chelsea and maybe we can get a result vs a top six side at last .

At least we've been spared waiting til the last day to lose 7th.

Now we can enjoy the last couple of games with no pressure.

Deulofeu having an off game doesn't really have much to do with missing Deeney.

I'm looking forward to hornetboy trying to somehow try and pin the blame on today for Gray.

Not sure I agree. I'd trade 7th for 17th in return for being in the cup final. Genuinely.

There's no point in resting players for the final. If City play well they will batter us either way.

Let's at least try and get 8th and finish as high as possible.

Didn't really do enough to earn anything - hardly tested their goalie .

Poor defending for both goals and Wolves were pretty comfortable once ahead .

Lets not forget Cathcart against Southampton if we are shaming and blaming :( The person I blame most though is the Ref against Arsenal, Deeney did not deserve a red  It was that short arses parents who were to blame, had they produced a taller child the worst Deeney would have received was a yellow and he probably wouldn't have even got that :)

Ho hum it looks like we have blown 7th place over the last few games, but lets go and beat City at Wembley which would be brilliant for two reasons: -

    Winning the Cup of course!

However, apparently if we do win the cup Wolves would not qualify for Europe even if they do finish 7th, and for me that would almost be sweater than actually winning the cup :D

Oh well. We can still do it. I’m not giving up. We can beat Chelsea and Fulham won’t be easy for wolves. Chelsea is a must win game now. If we win and Fulham beat/draw with wolves it’s on the last game of the season and I would rather our fixture than theirs.

Wolves really are a poor side and can count themselves extremely lucky to be walking away with all three points.

We have to beat one of the top 6 again soon and Hazard FC much like Arsenal and United have looked very poor this season.

We have to go Stamford bridge, get in their faces and show some balls for 90minutes. I just hope the players don’t give up now.

It’s been a great season that isn’t over yet. All the pressure is now on wolves.

At the end of the day errors have cost us 7th if we dont get it. We haven’t been outplayed by anyone, just stupid individual errors.

We could also perform a miracle on May 18th and beat Man City.

I’m already looking forward to next season.
