My Siamese cat, Rufus, used to do massive poos in my neighbour’s garden. In fact my neighbour complained to me, saying that his poo was bigger than her dog’s.

How I miss him. He really gave a sh1t.

Amazing the knots people will tie themselves up in to not have to face reality, or to not have to row back on their views that are clearly nonsense.

When we won 3 in a row under Bilic, and beat Luton 4-0 in the process, were people saying we were unfit from the summer then? No, that particular sequence of results was used by a certain section of fans for some time to suggest everything is rosy and we don’t have any problems.

Now all of a sudden the current problems apparently trace back to 6 months ago, rather than pointing the finger at the bleeding obvious.

Apparently Edwards is only doing well at Luton because of the new manager bounce, even though the players had nowhere to bounce from, yet Bilic doing well initially after taking over from a manager supposedly out of his depth wasn’t just a new manager bounce?

Players don’t lack fitness after 5 months and 25 games, it’s a lack of effort which stems from terrible recruitment and toxic culture that has been created though how the club operates, it’s also partially down to the manager not being that good as well, as much as people will continue to scramble around for any excuses they can for him, because to admit he isn’t that good means they have to admit Edwards wasn’t that bad, which means all roads lead back to Gino which means their entire belief system has to crumble before their eyes.

As unpopular as he is, and despite his limitations, I think we're currently a better side with Kayembe in it. Definitely would have been useful last night. A midfield of Bacuna and TDB is so easy to bypass and bully.

We got bullied. We let the opposition win soft free kicks. We let the ref dictate the pace of the game. Too many players not cut out for this league.

Logged on to see if Bilic had been sacked and add a few more thoughts

I thought Davis, Ngakia, Kalu tried to play yesterday but had so little support from the rest of the team , the three of them seemed to want to drive forward but nobody was there to help.It was notable how Sarr was never in the right position to support Davis so he continually had to drive forward by himself and take players on.

Sarr is a luxury player, would be great if we had a strong team around him, but for me is rapidly turning in to the new Andre Gray , having him on the pitch is like being a player down. We need to sell as we clearly can’t utilise his talents and need to cash in while he still has some value.

Aprila does have talent but isn’t ready for the 1st team and def isn’t a replacement for JP

The game fell apart when we took off Cathcart

I don’t understand how we are still 5th

our medical team remain a joke, if not our medical team how can we lose so many players who never seem to return , is cleverly still alive ?

Kamara to some extent ****ed us last week and now we are also missing sema as well

can’t see another victory for a while

No doubt a lack of consistency in the team selection doesn't help but we always seem to go into game with a negative slow mindset - is that down to Bilic or the players?

We let teams dominate us and in the last 2 games for various reasons haven't been able to recover.

Swansea were a struggling side form wise - even with our weaken team surely could have gone on the front foot but then guess Sarr and Davis do seem to be quite lazy off the ball.

I haven't seen a single second last night's game and don't intend to, so I'm not in any position to comment on the performance. But, we fielded a team that was missing arguably our two best players (Pedro and Lousa) while several others that would normally start are injured, so I think it's a bit harsh to blame Billic for what unfolded.
That said, the FA Cup semi final against Wolves seems like a life-time ago and fans are entitled to ask how on earth we have managed to replace players of the calibre of Pareyra, Delefeu, Doucore, Capoue etc etc with the current collection of no-hopers
It's pretty clear that we're entering a new ice age and I expect us to spend the next few seasons scuffing around between the second and third divisions. Pozzo jr and his unpleasant sidekick Fuxbury have some explaining to do

A few years ago I was, by pure chance, in a situation where for several hours I had the most incredible insight into first team matters at the club. I’ve shared what was discussed with only a couple of people but those who are on here will vouch for the validity of it.

I was told several things about several players - some surprising and some not. What I was told about Deeney (this was 4.5 years ago) was that he wasn’t universally liked at the training ground. The reason for that is because he would flare up and make a big song and dance over anybody not giving it 100% in training. Those who trained and worked at the same level were fine, so he was only ever unpopular with players who tossed it off for example Niang. Deeney ruled the roost which isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but he also set the effort and pride levels that had to be on show at training and on match day.

Some people now take the piss out of people like me who want maximum effort (dinosaurs, pashun merchants etc) but without that ‘pashun’ you get the drivel that we have been served up all year.

But why? Assume for a minute that this isn’t some big fraud, Pozzo must see, by now, that most of the players we get in via him are dross and won’t help us to promotion. Nor will he make big profits on the likes of Samuel Kalu.

Does he even go to games anymore? Does he still sit with Bayat? Is he just waiting to sell? I have no idea what he gets out of assembling a team like this anymore.

Simple. We tend to pay more than a player's actual worth at the point of sale, he makes a killing off the agent "cut" he gets, which is usually the amount we over-pay for the players' he brings in. It's how most agents work in any field. What he gets out of it personally, I do not know - but I call him "Del Boy" for a reason, and that not to slander the excellent talent of David Jason.

Noooo, but she is not bad looking.
She will have zero impact. None at Clermont Foot and Frankfurt.
Come back to me later next year.

This is not in any way said in a ‘questioning’ tone, purely genuine curiosity - are you at liberty to say what the situation of pure chance was and how it led to you being offered that insight?

I mean, I don’t need to come back to you any time - I’m not fighting her corner one way or the other, and I haven’t watched her closely at any point up to now.

You just seem to be utterly obsessed with her, to the point you’re almost incapable of not bringing her up even though she’s neither the Coach nor the Technical Director.

Just watched the highlights, some of the worst defending I have ever seen, the 3rd and 4th goal Jesus!!!! Think for the third we had like 9 players in the box yet not a single Swansea player was marked

Genuinely wouldn’t blame Bilic if he walked. Shambles of a squad and I’m not holding my breath for adequate reinforcements in January

    Pedro’s injury finished our season

When was the last time a manager anywhere walked? As much as it would be great, it makes zero sense to do it.

Remarkable stuff, eh! Costa was at Eintracht Frankfurt from 2017 to 2022 and to suggest she was there for window dressing purposes, as our downhilling expert seems to be saying, is pretty offensive and without foundation. A journalist I know who covers German football says she was very highly thought of there.

She had "no impact" at Clermont Foot for the simple reason that she quit after a month, and after taking charge of only two games, because of political wrangling.

She also spent time as part of the scouting team at Celtic and was very well respected there too.

I am just going on French reaction to her and her role at Frankfurt.
She may just as well made the tea, but in the PC World these appointments are to be expected. We have wasted enough money on transfer duds.
Just like Watford in the past couple of games, her role is pointless.

Interesting to hear that scouting is pointless, though. I'm absolutely certain you're right about that!

Not really as I wouldn’t want to get the person in trouble. It was a remarkable situation though and some of the stuff I heard was uncomfortable. I’ve alluded to it in the past but the name who came out of it the most negatively was Capoue.

It seems the players who get the fanboy treatment are often the worst of the bunch, and the honest but less talented grafters tend to get the stick.

It’s about opinions. You have different opinions to others. Nobody knows the full facts including you.
Most people come on here to put their points of view across and sometimes argue their points if they feel strongly enough about them
Your posts just come across very sarcastic and almost I know more than everybody else kind of attitude which is exactly how your post reads

I also find the confrontational nature of their posts challenging at times - but it is very hard to disagree with the content of their post in this instance.
