And I’ll be frank - you’re being an idiot and making wild statements and then stating they are my opinion! Where, just once, have I said we can build a substantially PL ready squad on a shoestring budget? This whole matter has come about from YOU replying to me and totally misinterpreting what I said. And rather than just be honest enough to say as much, you decided to make more stupid statements regarding what I didn’t even say and then use sarcasm as a way out. Far better to just say you didn’t understand my point. You indulge in many drawn out debates yourself so show some self-awareness maybe? Been a fan of him for years, hardly played much football for a 28 year old so if we can get him fit for a season, that’s at least 15 non penalty goals. A top 3 striker in the division when fit
As far as I’m aware he’s had two big injuries in his career and nothing else. A hip injury last season and a torn hamstring the season before that
I was thinking the other week that we could get Lucas João. Personally I think it will be a great signing as I assume he wouldn't cost a huge amount, I think he guarantees a Championship side 15 goals per season at least and I think we should create plenty of chances in this division if we have the likes of João Pedro and Cucho Hernandez.

I’d be all for this because, however limited he turns out to be, he’s not a prospect or a has been. Just a player who has done well in the league we find ourselves in.
Runs around like a headless chicken, decision making is poor, fluffs so many shots, passes, etc, and has only done okay in decent Fulham team. Obviously I don’t watch him week in week out, but I’ve definitely seen enough of him to have my opinion on him. Would be a terrible signing for us. Exactly what we don’t need.
Respectfully disagree on Reid - out scored every Fulham player in the PL last season and as I said 16 goal contributions this season, one every 156 mins (only Wilson and Mitro superior) isn’t to be sniffed at. Very versatile and works hard too. I wouldn’t want him as our out and out striker but as a pressing 10 I think he’d be pretty good. Would be nothing like Gray - he’s a much better technician and the price would be much much lower so seems like quite a lazy comparison. But age isn’t on his side, admittedly.
If we sign him, I hope you’re right. I won’t be holding my breath though as I think he will be a disaster. The guy is average at best.
We will need 4 strikers who can get goals, and would be fine if we kept Pedro/Cucho and added Joao. Fletcher or King as the fourth striker (not fussed which one). Would rather we went for someone like Gyokeres than Joao, but realistically we won’t have a lot to spend.
To further contextualise Reid’s goal contributions this season, Ismaila Sarr got 15 non penalty goals and assists for us in our promotion season in 40% more mins than Reid took to get 16 non-penalty goals and assists. He might not be an inspiring signing but we could (and probably will) do a lot worse.
Cucho got the same amount of Prem goals and assists as him in under half of his minutes. King also contributed more with less minutes. Spin anyway you want. I think he’s average at best.
Good to have contacts with the military police for when we have a pitch invasion at the end of the season for avoiding relegation in the last game

Yep I agree. We seem to have had a hard set rule about not splurging £3m on homegrown players when actually I firmly believe that should be the way forward. Yes we need to bring in some youngster freebies but a good club/manager (used to) have an eye for cheap players they can evolve.... Our most recent example was probably (?) Will Hughes 4 years ago..?
I watched Reading a lot in the last 2 seasons because they had a serbian manager and I think that he is an excellent striker and could probably do a decent job in the PL as well. He's easily better than all of our current options. Reading probably has the worst medical team in England(at one point last season they had youth midfielders playing in defence because everyone else was injured), and I believe that that may be in part the reason he got two serious injuries recently. If he can stay fit, I'm sure he would score at least 18-20 goals for us. Re: Bobby Reid. If they are willing to sell him I'd like him here. But I thought Fulham would like to keep him because of his versatility(he's played all across the attack+at wingback for them). Maybe not the best finisher, but a hard worker and will always get you a decent amount of goals and assist.
Yeah I don't suppose Decordova-Reid will be a first choice for Fulham in the Prem but he has a half-decent track record in the two seasons he's played in the division, so I don't think Fulham will want to sell cheaply. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't he a right-back for much of his time at Bristol City?
Anyone with his scoring record is worth a punt, especially when they play for a crisis club who probably have to sell on the cheap
I think his form went down when he dislocated his shoulder. End of this season just gone he had problems with his hip that apparently kept him out of games. Probably someone who won’t be regularly available.
