Anybody know if Hive Live is around for this season or was it just a one season wonder because fans were not allowed. I subscribed last year and loved being able to watch most games here in Spain but I have just visited the official page and can’t seem to find anything.
Premier League viewing rights will be sold worldwide to individual broadcasters. Zero chance any club is allowed to show their own games.
As someone that lives outside the UK I emailed Richard Walker about this about 3-4 weeks ago and he kindly responded. Won’t share his email due to the length of it, but bottom line is no, there will be no hive live for any of our Premier League games. They are hopeful they can show cup games as they fall under different broadcasting laws. Every game will be free audio access.
Hey don't worry @Avispón just wait 12 months and you can catch all the red hot Champo action again as Mooney commentates along side lovely Emma in the studio. Although in saying that, you would of thought in a years time most stadiums would be almost full again (I hope). HL was a great setup and I would like it to stay in some format even if it's just our own highlights and general banter channel.
Seems there is a Pre match show and as you say audio coverage. https://www.watfordfc.com/news/hive-live-matchday-show-returns-for-202122
Anyone thinking of tuning in at the Vic tomorrow? Something to watch/listen to whilst you wait for everyone else to get in the stadium!
Tough times for Tommy Mooney. He can’t even afford a pair of socks. Please donate whatever you can spare.
So who's ready for this to return next season then? In a weird way, I'm kind of looking forward to watching us play Rotherham (if they come up) or Blackpool at home with a real crowd in situ, and paying £10 for the miserable privilege! And it's live!
Is this true in non-COVID ravaged seasons? I thought it was a pandemic exception that they could show all games. Obviously, would be nice if that isn't the case.

Weirdly, as we get more and more ****, and play worse teams and drop down the leagues, my interest seems to rise. Probably a result of me starting to support Watford at the start of the wilderness years in the late 80's early 90's.
