But I was into the MLS long before D-Beck made the journey over there. Fitz, you must remember my pro-Fire ramblings. I knew about Nate Jaqua long before he played his ten minutes over here!

You have started a war General Buck, and I shall not relent.

Don't get me started on pre-Becks MLS, i remember the glory days of Jaime Moreno in his prime for DC being fed by Marco Etcheverry.

    Bring it on.

Anyway, a vote for Chewitt is a vote wasted.

He has no chance of a podium finish, a vote for me would put me in tied third.

Juicy! I like the tone of this discussion.

wfcmoog, you told me why I should decide for myself not to vote for some others, but you haven't told me why I should vote for you. You have potential as a candidate, but honestly, I'm not hearing it yet... I know you can do better.

A vote for me would be far from wasted, it'd be a milestone vote being my first !!

Also if you didn't vote for me it'd be as wrong as saying Eric Wynalda wasn't an absolute force up front for New England Revolution back in the late 90s!!

No, no, no. This gratuitous MLS knowledge will be your downfall. Use it when needed. I could be discussing the various talents of Eddie Gaven and Danny Szetela, but I'm not.

Go on Fitz, a vote for me is a vote for the coalition of the willing.

Downfall ? I think not, my superior MLS knowledge is what you're afraid of so you've decided to brush it off as nothing but deep down you know it's simply isn't worth the brush off.

Interesting...I have received my first donation of 'ornsss in enticement of my vote.

Finally: transactional voting is coming to fruition here in wfcforums.com.

PS: It was in the thousands...

I seem to have gained a vote. Thank you anonymous elector. Who wants to make me third outright?

Now you are talking...by the way, I received another very generous multi-thousand orns bribe investigative grant from an unnamed donor, but your 10,000 orns would be the tops...if it was in my bank already...

Is this turning into some sort of bidding war ? If so, my party clearly has the bigger financial backing ;)

I think i'd be able to throw in a couple of beers should i manage to get to a Galaxy game later this year when i may well be in the states. Now THERE'S an offer!!

So the going rate is a couple beers and a few thousand (more) orns...hint hint.

    Anybody else?

How about a round the world trip and a condo on St Lucia?

I intend to gain votes by making promises I have no intention of fulfilling.

I'm glad I can't be tainted by the murky goings-on in this poll. We need the UN in to oversee the voting. You'll have to watch Fitz, these Americans like to vote early and often.

Fantastic plan! However, it's best not to reveal the final disposition of the promises until well after the campaign is over, if ever.

I'm starting to wonder if I really want another vote. I'm currently among fabled opposition on 5: Danny, Fan and, to a lesser extent, Cudey. Me beating them would clearly be a disgrace to the forum hierarchy, and for that reason, I'm out.

Please appreciate my humbleness and vote for me.

I demand an inquiry. Don't let poor finances on the part of the independant party get in the way of your ethics.

Funny how PYA and moog have the most votes.

Just shows you that everyone loves a good discussion doesn't it?

An obvious campaign lie. My wife is a black belt...you would need a sniper rifle and 1/4 mile to do her in.

EDIT: Not that I've considered it before or anything.
