Could we be the first team to win the cup after re-signing Stephen Glass to fire us through at the quarter final stage again?

As fans we have definitely adjusted to life in the Premier. When we were in the lower leagues, we used to crave Premier League opposition in the cups, now we want lower league opponents.

It would be a travesty if we won it after making 11 changes to the team on saturday. I expect the FA will bring in a new rule retrospectively banning us if we make it much further.
I personally think we should go one step further and only field 9 players for the QPR game.
If we are in the final will the BBC limit the match to 5 minutes of highlights 10 mins from the end of the highlights programme ?

Or even run a competition to select 5 lucky fans to play along side 6 of our reserves.

Yeap, or a special feature on Klopp's new glasses can take up most of the running order that day

They’d have to mix it up a bit by reviewing who should have won the cup and why this years FA cup was so disappointing before finally linking back to Liverpool and Kloppy.

It is annoying that we have to wait for a replay again to know where we are playing. They should change the rules so the “replay” team is always away when drawn against a definite team.

If they draw with us they'll get a replay somewhere nice. Well, nicer than where they play their home games

Along with how amazing it is that Ollie Gunner Solskjaer has gone unbeaten since taking over from Josè and questioning why Man Utd have appointed a different guy to manage them.

Unfortunately for either of them this will not be the case. There are no replays from the 5th round!

On the QPR forum. Are they are bigger club than us? I'd say they probably are. Have won major honours, been in the top flight longer (I presume), better record against us etc.

"It’s a difficult one this. Sad sign of the times that a potential home draw with this Hertfordshire outfit is a big draw for us. In many ways, I reckon most of their fans still have an inferiority complex against us ; I (objectively, of course) think that we are the bigger club in every way.

My hope is that, if we get there, their foreign legion (and it really is) won’t like tight little ‘ol Loftus Road one bit. Don’t want to sound complacent but I’m confident we WILL get there. I think Pompey will, understandably, be turning their attention towards Luton, Sunderland and Barnsley from now on….."

Oh yes. That's to avoid massive clubs with a tiny first team pool from overburdening their players. That wouldn't have affected us, of course, with our huge Prem-standard staff

I agree with them, sick of having foreigners like Deeney, Gray, Hughes, Chalobah, Foster, Mariappa, Wilmot and Cathcart playing for us.

Good draw and one I was hoping. Haven’t played these two since before the age of modern football when coats were placed down as goal posts and a sebuttio referee was in the middle.

Halftime was a warm can on Coke from the then legal side sales and Des Lynam was scratching his tash on MOTD before Linekar got his ears in.

As you can tell, I’m pumped for this one now. Hope we dodge either Mancs and Chelsea next round (if we win), then who knows.

    Good draw for us.

Just need Man City to get either Man Utd/Chelsea in the next round.

It doesn’t seem as though it was particularly long ago that we played QPR at the end of the season, and they were celebrating promotion on our patch.

Now we’re a big draw for them. I’d rather play Pompey.

Most of them have played at Bournemouth so will be used to tight little grounds anyway...

She is just as poor as her male colleagues though. After the Crystal Palace vs Spurs game the other evening she said something along the lines of Tottenham having a run of easy games coming up including Watford and Newcastle, they all nodded their heads in agreement totally oblivious to the fact that we are currently sitting in 7th place and have already beaten them in the reverse fixture.
