Can someone make Harry a big watch please. Maybe Harry could battle Sliva The Snake at half time also. Have to call him Sliva for legal reasons.

He comes on here sometimes why not tag him if anyone can remember his username.
I don't see how a big cartoonish watch would be considered insulting.
And if Harry is joined by a new snake mascot on trial just for the game I don't see a problem
Harry could give the snake a large fake P45 as well

and a kick in the nuts for good measure

Never mind, they have different CM in mind. A player by the name of Dacoure. Must be a cheap knock off of Doucoure. Similar to when you buy Armani or Armano. They are going for the Armano version.

Sounds familiar. I wonder if that medicine tastes good.

Idrissa Gueye has told Everton he wants to leave and has begged them not to end his dream of joining PSG before Thursday’s transfer deadline.
Gueye has written to club officials pleading with them to allow the move but stopped short of putting in an official transfer request.

Bit of a coward isn't he? Transfer request traditionally means forgoing bonuses or a slice of the onward transfer fee. If I were Everton chairman I'd file his letter in the bin.

Coward? I'd say wanting to leave this Everton nut house shows a remarkable degree of sanity. Ok it's PSG that's come calling, but it's a clear indicator that players are not happy at the club. I believe it's the tip of the iceberg.

UEA means he's a coward for not putting in a transfer request, not because he wants to leave. As UEA noted, if he puts in a transfer request he forfeits loyalty bonuses/a slice of the transfer fee.

He doesn't want to stick his neck out and lose the financial payouts, which I'd agree is greedy and spineless.

Well they did win with 10 men - probably shows how poor Huddersfield are in front of goal!

Really in crisis, aren’t they? Above us, and only two points off seventh.

Its perceptions though. Everton think they can be the next Man City. The blue club to eclipse the more famous red club. Personally I don't think they could ever have expected more this season, being competitive and on the heals of the big 6. Probably expected a bit of a cup run, and bit of clear water between themselves and the rest of the second group of six. I can't see Silva under pressure if they maintain a top ten finish.

Have look at their remaining fixtures. They will not be picking up too many points for the remainder of the campaign unless they have a massive improvement. They are just about squeaking the odd result here and there to keep them out of trouble.

Looking at their squad, they should be miles out of sight and uncatchable in 7th place. Last night they rode their luck again and had to rely on a lot of saves from Pickford, who had one of his good nights, to ensure they held on to beat the bottom club in the league.

We have a game in hand on them, ok it's at Spurs, but a point would see us go above them again.

Compare their squad to ours. We are over achieving and they are under achieving. I think that's clear for everyone to see. You don't spend £100m in the transfer market and still expect to be crap.

Still, it’s hardly a crisis, is it? They’re not doing as well as they ought to, that’s all.

Fantasists. They have convinced themselves they are a big club, that they have a rich history winning things, that they have a rightful place at the top table. The fantasy runs right through the club from fans to board. Having created the fantasy anything that falls short is a ‘disaster’. It must be an awful club to manage, knowing that ‘acceptable’ can never be achieved.

With a large enough watch, it must be easy to find the requisite 6 added minutes.

Threatening to resign if they sell Gueye to PSG. Everton have got a get out of jail free card there.

If he really has issued that ultimatum, it's only ever going to go one way from here on in.

It's face saving as he probably knows it's only a matter of time before he is sacked. The Everton board have realised he's not the new messiah after all and Silva knows the writing is on the wall.

He'd rather resign then have another sacking on his CV. If this plays out how I think it will do, then that will be his career over in England. He's poison and his reputation will be damaged beyond repair.

He will probably get an ok job back in Portugal, but I think he'll be seen as damaged goods and none of the bigger jobs will be within his scope anymore.

Just popped over to the Everton forum to see how our Everton friends have taken the news....and they've gone ballistic. They all want him gone now.

    Very convenient.

Serpent resigns under the false pretence of a single player being sold, to avoid being pushed & in order to try & save the remains of his diminishing managerial reputation.

Whole squad relies on Richarlison anyway.

Should have known he was trouble when the one of his former clubs sacked him because he didn't 'wear a suit' on one occasion! Toxic Individual.

Excluding Watford, there are 6 big clubs left for Silva to get a next gig at. Resign now and he has all spring to polish his CV.

I see they've got to face City in midweek before they come to us. Hopefully Javi uses the extra time wisely. Practice aimless hoofs, Success can attack some ball boys...the usual stuff.

We laugh but the big question is how we are only one point ahead of them? Everyone seems to have won at Goodison apart from us.

They won't sack him before they play City so they might bin him two days before we play them in the hope of getting a bounce

What are the chances they beat City then we beat them to make him get the boot. A, big loss to City and I can't see the owners giving the chance for us to potentially rub it in.
