Usual Prediction Thread. Going for 1-0 to England. Croatia havent let any goals in and nether have we. Expecting a close game with Crouch scoring by some stupid fluke
Didn't watch macedonia game, watched scotland, far more exciting- the game flowed, there was passion and it was an exciting game. I think it will be a bore draw, crouch is a donkey- yes he scores goals which is the important thing, but other than that i think hes crap- has no strength, argues at the ref , moans and is just poor. Will be nice to see sean wright phillips playing he has lots of ability and flair- i hope king keeps his place, but meh, whatever the score, the chamces are it will be a boring game
If Malcom has got any sense he'll start SWP. I'm going to assume he's got some nouse and will go for an England win by 1 goal. If he wants to remain Sven's mini me then I think we'll lose. .......sorry still upset that I wasted an hour and half of my Saturday watching that poor excuse of a match.
2-1 england. I have to disagree with albangura9 about the crouch comment... he as one of only 2 or 3 players who played anywhere near decent on saturday, he was severely hampered by the fact that he was constantly haranged by 3 defenders closing him down and he couldnt make anything happen. Rooney on the otehr hand was the donkey, he played some of the worst football i have seen any england striker play and i dont feel deserves a place on the pitch on wednesday night. I feel they should start Bent and put rooney on the bench. I do agree that they should start Sean Wright-Phillips, he played very well for the time he was on on saturday and considering there is no Gerrard he would be a good alternative, and i also feel they shoudl try the 3-5-2 that everyone has been going on about.
I've gone for a 0-0 bore draw after saturdays performance. I would take a Watford win over an England win every time
