    What are people’s thoughts?

A lot of discussion about the absence of Toney and Tomori. But why does Adam Webster never get a mention? I think he is superb - one of the PL’s best passing CBs and really good in a back 3.

Ngakia and Pollock will be devastated. Long shots but I guess our closest to getting a place in the England squad.

Being relegated after defeats to Hungary would indicate to me that the squad isn't the problem.

I don't think we're about to pull a World Cup winning performance out of our arses. All gone a bit stale.

Will the lack of games or fitness for a number of key players be shown up?

    Particularly in defence .

Apart from Maguire and Philips I think the squad is ok except in the CB area, I feel Tomori would have been a better choice than Maguire.

Looking forward to watching Bellingham, seems to be on form and only getting better for the next 10 years I imagine.

I think Shearers prediction of a quarter final loss against the French is spot on.
