    Watched him a few times when I was keeping an eye on Doucouré's progress at Granada. Quite good going forward, maybe a bit wimpy in defence. I'd have him down as squad fodder, he always played on the right when I saw him but was decent on the ball so guessing he might be cover for either flank.

    Either that or we've signed him to play just for Saturday and we'll transfer him back to Granada around Sunday lunchtime. Classic Ponzo loophole.

    Hopefully Daryl "glass legs" Janmaat's replacement.

    Femenia to be no.1 RB, Foulquier as back up. I would even keep Djedje over Janmaat.

    Don't get me wrong I like Janmaat but just never fully fit and always picks up knocks. Wouldn't be too upset if we sold him before the window shuts.

    Both prefer to be wingers? Janmaat very clearly called himself a "right back" in an interview recently and has played the vast majority of his career there and Femenia has been converted to full back for a while now and done well playing there in La Liga. We also have Dja Djedje and then Cathcart and Mariappa as last resort options.

    So yes, the last thing we need is a right back. I would genuinely place almost every other position on the pitch as a higher priority.

    LB for sure, which is obviously still going on. We added a reserve GK and added Gray.

    We're a bottom half side. Clearly there are many places where better players could be found. However, we have to address places where simple numbers are lacking.

    Quality teams are built from the back. We saw last year when the defence crumbled due to injury, the team collapsed. The back has to be sorted - with depth.
