No ambition or desire to win that.

We miss Doucoure, but I don't see how Perreyra would have added anything, if Sema gets muscled off the ball easily, then Perreyra would have been just as bad and even more anonymous.

Hated that game and I feel sorry for the traveling fans.

Elton John needs to publicly apologise to Ben Foster.

    Recent cold weather?: Check
    Attained league safety?: Check
Can't string a decent run of passes together & players look tired & unmotivated?: Check
Relying on your keeper every game?: Check

Yes, I think you'll find that's commonly known in the footballing community as Watford 'second half of season' syndrome. Don't try to fight it or get lulled into thinking it won't happen this time, because it's inevitable.

Come back again in August & this disease will typically have passed & will usually stay away for around 6 months.

More than happy with a point.

    Deu-failure.

Doesn't deserve a song on that performance, not even a dirge.

But we’re not without Foster. He is a vital member of the squad like everybody else has. Zaha, Salah etc.

I can't knock Delefeou, if he knew we'd end up a clueless 442 long ball hoof team he'd probably never have come here.

Probably wishes he'd made more of a fuss in Jan and got a move away. Wouldn't blame him.

Hideous football. Gracia can fcuk right off if he thinks that is acceptable.

I think I’m in the minority.

I think today was a good, professional, established mid table prem team managed 0-0 away from home.

No attacking flair but defence played well.

Better than losing 1-3 at home

I think realistically, without our two best players, a point is a good result. Brighton are basically the new version of Stoke and have an excellent home record. If we win next week, this result will seem much more positive imo.

In the abstract a good point but performances have been poor for the last 4 league games. I would hope Gracia can show he has some other ideas than his 4-2-2-2 which doesn’t work effectively when missing Doucoure.

Sema is absolutely abysmal. Miles away from the required standard.

0-0 is a decent result at Brighton though so we move on and get ready for Everton.

Well I suppose a point isn't too bad.

The defensive unit did Ok, up to and including Capoue. But that is possibly the worst performance, going forward I've seen for a long time. I wouldn't pick any individual out for being particularly bad, they were all terrible. Dele, Sema, Deeney, Hughes, Cleverley.

But I dont think it was an all-round lack of ability, they can all perform so much better than that. It can only be in their head, their mindset, their attitude. And that would include Pererya - and it has been much the same for several weeks, now.

There is something wrong when the Gracia loses the heads of so many players at once.

...and it can't help when we such poor displays seemingly tolerated by Gracia. Quina has done nothing other than impress when he has played. Peneneranda clearly offers something different and is probably desperate to get on. Chalobah needs to play. What can they be thinking when they see such an awful display in front of them, yet they don't get given a decent chance. What message does that send to both those players and the players that are playing so badly.

How could a subsitution do anything other than good when the players they replace have been so totally ineffectual?

I said it a few weeks ago, Gracia is struggling to get anything like the best out of our players, and he struggles to show any flexibility, or how to take decsive action. He is just rather limited.

I'll take the point any point away in this league is a good point. Brighton were the better team and we're getting to most the second third balls, a better team today would of punished us and another excellent performance from Big Ben saved us the point.

Mapps and Cathcart were good too Mapps covering for Janmatt today was very good as Janmatt was woeful going forward and kept losing it way out of position which also cleverly was doing well to track back and tidy up his mistakes.

Other than that pretty woeful performance hopefully saving the best for a massive goal blitz against Slither (if he's there)

Grinding out a point away from home is useful if uninspiring. Each point moves us nearer the 40 - despite the fact that this year it is likely the requirement will be quite a bit less. Before the game I would have settled for a point so am not too disappointed. We need now to go for three pointers at home. Next Saturday 3 points would be soooooo sweet with Richarlison missing a sitter and being sent off - not that I feel remotely bitter.

442 hoof to Deeney has never worked against Everton yet, what makes you think it will result in 3 points next week?

Today was a day I think Penaranda could of been given a chance, def bring him on off the bench. But I think Spanish Graham was concentrating on keeping the defensive shape as they looked the most dangerous down the flanks. But got to agree Javi's biggest weakness is when and who he brings off the bench can only remember us on here agreeing with those decisions a few times.

I know Deulofeou hasn't been up to much, but when he gets the ball, at least he tries to make things happen and he is always a potential threat.

Players like Deeney, Sema and Hughes are offering absolutely nothing at the moment and just don't deserve to be playing. In Sema's case, it's clear he doesn't belong at this level so it's baffling that he's anywhere near our first 11 ever.

A point away from home in this league is good unless you are one of the top 6. Fans who travelled today expecting more need to get real. We have injuries in key positions
    and it showed.
