I'm shocked. I thought he'd be there for a few more years yet.

Do you think Robson should give up on management and stick to being a coach or Number 2 at clubs?

I take it by the transfer targets Robbo?
Not sure if that was a managerial decision as much as a board decision, or even if he still remains a target, I know Aidy said he fitted our profile but is this still true, considering since he was knocked back on the Robbo deal he has brought in a couple of regulars including shittu.
I wouldnt say that his main targets would be the back four now so much as a more prem style attacking issue.
I would love to see Robbo back but i guess its one of those wait and see things.

There may be a change in players which start a merry-gooround again.
Chris Powell has done very well but how many years does he have left? Surely he must be considering a coaching career at some point. Mind you he has shown that he is up to the pace at the mo (injury aside)

to be fair i would think that Aidy would be looking at the short term in the xmas round of transfers in the knowledge that come close season there will be alot of options available to him via free transfers, Chris powell as you rightly say onliy has this year and maybe next left in him and has shown he is up to the task, i think it would be a bit of a mistake to throw everything at Robbo when we are in need of goals, if however the goals start to come then that would make it different.

Agreed Ellington will be OK but not for the silly money that was suggested in the last window. Hopefully with a secure league position we will be able to tempt a bigger gun or two.
