My sources say we may need to sell a further 20 million worth of players in the next window, just to stay in business.

Given that we only have 15 first team players over the age of 20 left the wages can't possibly be too high anymore. Even though Ellington, Sadler, Hoskins and Eustace probably sum up to £2m per year, the rest can't be on more than £3m per year, tops.

According to the financial report from December 31st 2008 we had about £4m of loans left to repay, so we can't be far off in that department either.

It would be nice to know the true financial situation of the club as of now. It would certainly make the recent departures a little easier to stomach

Hopefully some brave soul at the fans forum will ask this question as to how are our finances actually placed after the resoundingly succesfull summer sales at Watford FC. I make it closer to £6.75 mill in + add ons + players salaries saved! Would it be somewhere in the region of £10 mill in total?

I look forward to listening in next week.

Still in trouble. Again, comes back to the issue of wages but also how many people go through the doors on match day...
Or, ask Katie Wareham in Watford FC's finance department...
The general reply would be what we all know...
