If we continue to have a lousy Summer window, do you see us being in involved in a relegation scrap to the level of QPR next season? I do not think we have fallen to the levels of Rotherham United Champ standards, but I can see the struggle continuing until balance is found off and on the pitch.
If the direction of travel continues we’ll go down next season. There’s no doubt about it, I cannot see how it’s avoided. Those few lucky away results have saved Watford and Ismael this season (in all likelihood). But we’ve been poor for most of the season. We’ve had two bad runs under VI. Asprilla will go next season and we won’t have Dennis. We’ll be stuck with the crud but even less quality than we have now. The owner will not invest and we can’t spot a player even if we did. The situation is pretty hopeless. The club is dying right in front of our eyes, yet fans refuse to see it. They convince themselves this is all part of the reset and rebuild. They still believe Gino Pozzo will wave his magic wand but sadly those days are long gone.
Lots of effort. Same issue is that end product in last third is really really poor. Over hit, under hit crosses. Decision making slow and losing the opportunity Rinse and repeat.
That was so much better than last week. It’s just tragic that we don’t have a decent, or even half decent, centre forward. A half-fit Dennis is head and shoulders above the other two.
A line up consisting of Hamer, Ngakia, Porteous, Morris, Livermore, Chak, Sema & Rajovic could very well be looking at a QPR type season yes.
Didn't you read Mr Duxbury's notes in the accounts this week? We are going for promation next season!
This isn't quite doom-mongering to the level of LaClusazski predicting we'd go down when we were already mathematically safe in 2021, but it's not far off
He’s quite clearly under instructions to do so but needs to pick winnable battles where there’s a chance to nick the ball, he’ll go in for a 20-80!
Yes saw those quotes before too . Basically means we will probably end up having 3 managers again next season if that doesn’t happen .
He actually said he was aiming for promotion this season. So if the rules have changed and the top 18 go up, I think he’s going to fall short on this promise.
It seems to me that Rajovic confidence is completely shot and doesn't seem to want the ball . Also , when a striker is struggling to get touches then they will drop deep into a no. 10 position to get some touches . Raj doesn't seem to want to or doesn't trust himself to do this. He doesn't appear to get out of his markers eyeline when on the half way line and just seems to jog from side to side . I am aware that he is a better player than I could ever be\was but these are my observations
Guys can we please not insult the players by suggesting they have disabilities, we do not know who reads these forums and the last thing we need is a reprimand from the Club or worse. Post in question has been removed for this reason. Thank you.
TDB was ok at right back yesterday. Sema showed why he is levels above Martins. At the end of the first half he made a brilliant run which got us from our box to midway in the Leicester half, before playing it to Martins who instantly lost the ball. Livermore was immense, but the sooner we get Kayembe back in there the better. Harry Winks was more creative for us yesterday than Asprilla, Martins and Kone have been for weeks.
Why don't you bet everything you have on your convictions? If you think we will finish on 55 points you could win a fortune on spread betting. Even if we out performed your prediction by 15% you'd still win. It's not likely we'd out perform your prediction as let's face it you're always right. It seems inevitable the direction of travel will continue so bet next season on us to go down and as there is no doubt about it you can't lose. With your winnings you could commission a massive anti pozzo protest and be a hero when he is forced out.
I do bet and I make a modest fortune out of Watford thanks. I’m not right every time, but I must be around an 80% success rate which does me just fine.
In which case you've obviously had quite a few bets on us picking up a result which would imply all our wins werent as lucky as you make out
An 80% consistent betting winning rate is very impressive and enough to get rich on and never have to work again. Perhaps you could increase your stakes and overtime have enough to buy the club and show how it should be run? If you were in charge I don't think anyone could criticise you for lack of communication so that would be an immediate improvement.
You are wrong on all counts It wasn’t a shambles or disaster We aren’t going down Eustace is employed elsewhere!
No, I have took a hit on the 5 away wins this season. So 5 wrong out of 31. Those away wins were as lucky as I have said.
Bearing in mind we’ve only lost around 30% of our matches this season you must be betting more often on a positive result than negative one which is surprising.
