So who is actually to blame for us not winning every game?

Who is going to carry the can?

    Who's responsibility is it?

With perennial unfavourites such as Kabs and Sarr out of the way, there's a vacancy which at this stage of the season could be filled by any one of a number of different candidates.

Get your vote in for who you'd like to be this season's scapegoat.

Tricky competitive field but I will go for Healey. Got much grief in the transfer thread for prophetically calling him out as a ferocious dud.

If he can't win the title with the outstanding quality squad Gino has made available, he doesn't deserve to call himself a football club manager.

Bayo has started strongly. If he can get a decent run in the team he must stand a chance

As much as the owners have messed up, the fans need to get it out their head that we should be an established Premier League club who are too good to be here. After 6 recent years in the Prem it does feel like a bump back down to earth but look at other clubs like Leicester, Stoke and Sunderland as an example that this happens constantly in English football and we are currently going through it.

Two games in, sounds a bit harsh so early. But looking at the past season as a guide, it has to be Bachmann. He does make some good saves, but his kicking is just as bad (if not worse) than some of Hamer's last night. Also, his five year captain armband hasn't gone down well with the majority of the fanbase (online). Not to say he is a bad character, he looks like a good bloke but his needs a major improvement going forward. He ended last season pretty poorly, and hasn't started this season all that well either. What he does have on his side is time - but whether or not he uses that to improve his game remains to be seen.

Sema will have 2 people backing him for every detractor he'll have, it'll be Bayo and Bachmann by a country mile

Definitely Bachmann. Every goal we concede will be his fault in one way or another.

It's not the relegation that rankles with me, there will always come a season where it seems nothing goes your way, it's the leaving us in £200m debt that we can't service which rankles, let's see if the owners can wriggle their way out of that pickle, then I might look back upon their stewardship of the club more favourably again

At least he was free, I think in the eyes of many here, if he fails, it's effectively no harm done, but Bayo on the other hand...

Has to be Bachmann, even in our comfortable win over QPR he nearly cost us a goal at the end of the match.

I like Sema but feel that he is wasted on the right wing. He was our best outfield player last season (for me) on the left until Chris Wilder came in and sidelined him to a degree.

For the record, if Bachmann does cost us goals like that, I won't be too hard on him, he's just an imperfect option for the style of play Ismael wants, but mistakes with shot-stopping (which tbf is generally his strength) or coming for crosses are much more a Championship keeper's bread and butter

Agreed. Assuming QPR was a reflection of how Ismael wants him to play, he'll be spending a lot of time nearer the halfway line than the goal line - he's bound to get caught out a few times this season and most teams will punish it. No doubt the majority will blame the keeper, but that's how he's been told to play (and allows us to get an extra player forward).
