Nottingham Forest 0-1 Watford (women) Hornets Are Going Up!!

    Hey gang, after a season of let down by disaffected millionaire footballers who couldn't give two fooks, I'm excited to be going to the play off final tomorrow, between WFC ladies and Notts Forest (a replay of the cup final a few weeks ago).

    Kick off is 1pm at Stadium MK and tickets are £5.75 for adults or free for under 10s.

    It would be great if we can pack out the WFC end and cheer the ladies home, whilst enjoying some commitment from players in a yellow shirt for once.

    We're heading there too. The girls said they wanted to see it and you can't argue with £11.50 for the 4 of us. Looks like we've sold a few hundred more than Forest too.

    Girl Power! (sorry).

    I really hope they can end their fantastic season on a high and gain promotion. Forest are a good side though and are no push overs. They know about each other well having met in the Cup final not too long ago, but I feel they have worked so hard this season showing the mens side up in desire, comitment and attitude they deserve to be here. It's going to be tough, but a large vocal hornet support can hopefully roar the ladies to victory.

    Watford have said they went past 1,000 earlier in their allocation in the week. From the ticket website I reckon it could be about 1,400 now. Forest probably 800-900. And there's a neutral section in between where a few hundred tickets have been sold by the look of it.

    I was hoping to get to this. Watched the cup final stream, which was the first time I've seen the womens team, and it was actually a very enjoyable game. Unfortunately it's on at the same time as my youngest's 5th birthday party and for some strange reason the wife doesnt want to be left with a load of rampaging kids.

    That definitely checks out. I did the 10k in Milton Keynes earlier this year and there was a barstard hill right at the end.

    Yes it was. I was a little concerned at HT as we were playing too much out from the back and losing it close to goal. Forest sat deep and it was hard to get in behind. Second half was better with more attacking play my god Forest came so close to equalising on a number of occasions. Some brilliant saves from Gold in the Watford goal.

    It was great to see Helen Ward lift the tophy. Wales top goal scorer and an assett to the women's game. I hope she enjoy's her earned retirement.
