And fans like you just want bang average players that don’t try as long as they come from dodgy agents.
When have I said that? Which players are you saying I've said that about. I'm a fan of the club, I don't want bang average players from anybody, homegrown or via a dodgy agent
You said fans like me (not sure what type of fan I am) want bang average players from a dodgy agent. Please point out when I've said this. People have mentioned they were happier with the likes of Jason Soloman because he was homegrown. I don't think anybody that remembers him will suggest he was any good. Hodson is another one.
You didn’t say it, just like no one has said what you are claiming that fans want ‘poor but homegrown’ players.
I mean, it's certainly a sentiment that has popped up in various forms... And to be honest, I've got no issue with the points put across, and agree with many. Keinan Davis is a much better player than Tobi Adeyemo, but I enjoyed Tobi's cameos, goal and genuine joy in his celebration, much more than Davis' hand waving and jogging. It's very likely we're heading for another era of limited but hard working, mostly British players, slogging their way to mid table Championship finishes. Moving away from the era of mercurial talents like Deulofeu and Pereyra, who are levels above in ability, but won't be seen in the trenches at Rotherham away. This is the reality of our situation now and I (genuinely) hope the people who wished for it, enjoy it more than the alternative/past.
Yes it was utterly bizarre...for those who have no idea what is being discussed... https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...bert-mcclenaghan-was-born-60-years-ago-today/
He was absolutely horrendous when they stuck him in the engine room at Middlesbrough. Now those were the days.
