The Supporter Services Office, located beneath the Rookery Stand, will be open from 9.00am for match ticket holders to collect their tickets. Photo ID is required to be shown when collecting your ticket. The Supporter Services Office will close for match ticket collection at 10.15. Coaches will be ready to depart from Occupation Road at 10.30am.

So an hour and a quarter to process 1,000 fans (including checking their photo ID). That's got **** up written all over it

Was there that day and they had free reign to lob stones at us from the pitch whilst we were stuck there.
Much like will be happening to the coaches on 1st April.

1k fans paying £15 for a bus. That's half of Kabaseles's weekly wage taken care of.

I see that the club doesn't seem to give a rats derriere about their many fans who live North of Watford

Agreed. Let’s just go for a p### up in a brewery instead of watching our heroes meekly lay down their arms and be slain by our unruly neighbours and their up-and-coming young English manager.

The people who "organize" away travel don't give a damn about the many Watford fans who live North of Watford. We are supposed to travel down to Watford, having already travelled from Milton Keynes, Northampton and many other places much farther away, go past the place (twice) w here the match is taking place, to start from Watford, pay another £15 for the dubious privilege of 2 coach journeys that we don't want to do. We'll already have had to spend a lot of time and money getting to the match. It's completely ridiculous and I don't think it guarantees our fans safety at all. A selfish, ridiculous, moronic decision. I wanted to go to this match but I won't be treated like a mug so I won't be going. I've been a Watford fan since 1971 and this is the most ridiculous decision by the club ever.

Yeah sure, but at least in most cases you probably wouldn't have to go as far out of your way as us lot "Up North" Not ideal if you're in Swindon or Bristol but not too bad if you're in Sarf London or Brighton/ Portsmouth etc.

You may well be right, only giving Rob Edwards 10 games before the sack is looking increasingly like another poor decision.

Anyone living in carrot cruncher land, i.e. Norfolk, Suffolk and some parts of coastal Essex, still have an easier and less frustrating journey for this match than us lot in the Northern outposts, at least you wouldn't have to go past L#ton twice without being allowed to go to the stadium. You could miss out the sh#te M1 as well.

On current form, this is a worrying fixture for us, but what gives me some hope is that we were in poor form heading into the home game with L#ton but still beat them 4-0.

If the trains were running you could've got one from Watford Junction to St. Albans, then a 321 bus. As it stands, everyone is going to be herded like cattle, forced to queue to buy a ticket for the match,

forced to pay £15 for a coach from Watford to L#ton and back again, regardless of where they live. They're making the travel on club coaches compulsory for this match. I live "Up North" in Milton Keynes, so I won't be going.

Was looking a flying over for the day for this, but instead of landing in LTN and heading towards a pub/ground, I'd now have to trek to the Vic to collect the ticket and pay for a bus I don't need, back to the place I was already in an hour or 2 before? Unnecessary ball ache.

Granted I may be the exception already being in Luton, but no doubt it also puts out many other fans not traveling from Watford. As someone else said, anyone who wants the added security of coach travel should avail of it, it shouldn't be mandatory.

But from the gang who boarded up a statue for a game where there was no fans at , I'm not surprised to see Watford's match-day team come up with another zinger.

I'd be more upset about having to sit on a coach with the coked up, scratty wannabes that seem to be prevalent in our fan base at the moment.

I was looking forward to going to this.
I have the email from the club confirming that I am eligible for a ticket.
I live in Leighton Buzzard and the bus to Luton stops in my road, which would be a free ride as I have a senior bus pass. Not only that. but I know some Luton fans who live near me who take the bus and (without wearing colours) I would travel with them so I know I would be ok.
So now I have to travel all the way to Watford on a day where there are no trains and then pay an extra £15 to travel from Watford to Luton.
This is an absolute farce, I have just about had enough of this club.
I will not now be going to this match, and this is the final straw with me, I will not be renewing my season ticket.

Unfortunately a small minority wouldn't behave themselves (as happened at the reverse game I understand) so the police have probably tried to be cautious.

Club has been worried about the behaviour of some fans at away games generally as suggested above by @Fernandiiito

Mind you is all this going to stop any yobs from either club travelling and just standing outside causing trouble?

Agree on the getting charged to get the coach being rather draconian.

Absolutely shafting anyone who doesn't live right in Watford.

Where can you park a couple of hundred cars round Vicarage Road too?

I imagine Luton will be rubbing their hands at having their targets laid on a plate for them.

Get some bricks and you've got about 16 coaches in a row to choose from.

I am well aware this is a tasty local Derby but let's not get carried away - it's not Besiktas vs Fenerbache. Complete overkill by the club, yet again reminds me we are run by morons. Boarding up GT for a behind closed doors game was embarrassing too. I know the police get involved with these decisions but it saddens me to think we will likely never have a proper Derby with Luton again without 11am kick offs, mandetory coach travel or airport security.

    GoingDown "The Stability"

Milquetoast Mike, who backs the club stance whatever it is due to his ‘occupation’, has unsurprisingly backed the club stance.

Instead he blames society for the decision by the club. That’s correct. Society is the reason Watford fans will happily allow themselves to be fleeced once more. Obviously he doesn’t reference the fact that Luton fans were trusted enough by their club to make the journey themselves.

Seemingly the only derby game in the top 2 divisions that’s not shown live on Sky, yet again. An early kick off, yet again. It’s all very odd. But what isn’t regarding our circus act of a club.

A local derby, only the second one with fans in 16 years, between 2 teams going for promotion, and with a manager that's swapped one team or the other mid-season! Sure where's the interest in that!
